Questions & Answers

What is the maximum number of ounces this can produce?

1 part of the formula is mixed with 2 parts water. I made a large batch because I was feeding three newborn puppies. Also, instead of heating the formula in the microwave, pour it into a bottle and place it in warm water.

When does the esbilac milk replacer (5 pound) expire?

The 5 pound bag costs $20 more than buying three 3 pound bags. Boxes with a capacity of 28 oz Just putting it out there.

How much milk does a 5 pound bag of Esbilac make?

1 lb. (12 oz.) A single can of powder yields about 60 ounces. So, for 5 pounds, you'll need about 400 oz.

In the webpage description, it says there is yolk inside, but I don't see it in the picture. Which of the two is correct?

The following are the ingredients: br>Water, skimmed condensed milk, soybean oil, sodium caseinate, cream, calcium caseinate, egg yolks, L-glutamine L-methionine is a type of methionine that is found in many foods arginine, calcium carbonate, choline chloride, lecithin, magnesium sulfate, potassium chloride, monopotassium phosphate, salt, tricalcium phosphate, carrageenan, ferrous sulfate, potassium hydroxide, zinc sulfate, vitamin A, vitamin E, niacin supplement, calcium pantothenate, copper sulfate, maltodextrins, thiamine hydroch

3/5

PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION PRIOR TO PURCHASE. I have two litters of doodles, and I fed them a mixture of esbilac and water according to the directions 1: 2 servings of puppy food I fed this mixture to my puppies for a week. All of the puppies are moaning and yelping after they have eaten. I assumed it was causing them to have stomach pains. They stopped moaning and yelping after eating once I stopped using the esbilac. They were also constipated as a result of it. They were having difficulty pooping and appeared to be in discomfort. Both moms ate their mixture and became constipated as a result of it. Then I went back to read the negative reviews, but I was in such a bad mood that I didn't even bother to look at them. I figured with so many positive reviews, I couldn't possibly go wrong. You should be aware of this. Please read all of the reviews, both positive and negative. Thank you.

THESE ARE NO LONGER MADE IN THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA - Please take time to read! The labeling is erroneous
3/5

I got a different labeled product that says "crafted in the USA" instead of "made in the USA," which means the formulation was made in the US but the ingredients and manufacturing could be done elsewhere. The "new" formula has sat like cement in baby bellies, causing constipation, bloating, and even death in some cases, according to myself and many other wildlife rehabbers. I wouldn't recommend giving this to a baby until the problem is resolved.

It was a success
5/5

Nine puppies out of a total of nine survived. Powder that is of high quality. All of the other people who complained about it either don't know what they're talking about or don't care about their puppies. Because their mother was not producing enough milk, we mixed it according to the directions and fed it to our nine puppies. Puppies are small babies, so start with a half ounce per pup and gradually increase to two or three as they grow - It's possible that you'll need to stop and burp them every now and then. There wasn't a single puppy in the litter that we didn't lose. They must be fed on a regular basis, particularly during the first two weeks of danger. If you plan on feeding multiple puppies for multiple weeks, you'll need more than the one large can, which was only enough to feed the runt for a month. The runt was primarily fed milk replacer, while the others received it on occasion when they were happy and hungry. The premixed cans were unappealing to the puppies, but the powder was a hit. I would purchase this product again.

Providing assistance to a 17-year-old Pug who is sick- It's not only for puppies anymore! We bought it for a 17-year-old rescue Pug who only had two teeth in the top of his mouth, was on antibiotics for mouth infections, and was given CBD oil for pain
5/5

We also fed him meat, chicken, tuna, and veggies ground to a paste with chicken or beef broth, pre/probiotics, enzymes, vitamins, and minerals that we gave him by fingertips into his mouth and he would almost suck the food off your fingers (he couldn't eat food from a bowl) but every night he got this Puppy Milk in a syringe with a silicone wide tip about 4 to 6 fluid ounces. All of these factors combined, and he was up and walking quickly and painlessly, having gone from refusing to eat at all, sleeping all the time, and the vet recommending euthanasia. to eagerly wanting to eat and being much more alert, drinking water, going to the bathroom and pooping normally, and responding to and wanting to be held and loved. He had a two-star rating in terms of his health. In just one month, he's gone from 3 to a solid 7.

horrible
3/5

I began feeding solid food to my puppies when they were three years old. Puppies' food that has been soaked in water for five weeks. I decided to try this product mixed with their food four days after I started the solid food. They were all sick to their stomachs and had a lot of diarrhea. They recovered after I took the product out of their diet. I called the Pet Ag people and got a voicemail machine. I left my number twice and never got a call back. I'm never going to buy another pet-related product.

**WARNING** This product has undergone a significant change for the worse! I opened a new can today that was no longer made in the United States, and as I have done for years, I used a small battery-operated coffee foam frothier to thoroughly mix the product, which was knotted with something that looked like cotton fibers when I pulled it out
3/5

I poured out the fresh Esbilac mixture and used a mug instead, thinking that perhaps I had dried the mixing container with an old towel. I rinsed the mug thoroughly, shook it off (rather than using a rag to dry it), and started mixing a new batch. The frother was knotted with cotton-like fibers once more. These fibers would be in the bey of my squirrel babies (I am a rehabber) if I hadn't used the frother when mixing the formula. NOT GOOD! Another review I read mentioned constipation and puppies moaning after each meal. It's easy to see why. Cotton fibers must be passed by those poor babies! BUY THIS ITEM AT YOUR OWN RISK! I've never used Esbilac before, so I'm not sure what I'll do. This is a disaster!.

Supplements puppies' diets as they get ready to be weaned
5/5

Because I raise Scottish Terriers, this is a must-have at my house. But I don't just use it when a mother's milk supply is running low; it also aids in getting the puppies to eat dog food. I begin mixing this with warm water and pouring it over their food when they are about 3 weeks old. The warm milky food acts as a puppy magnet, making it easier for them to transition to solid food. For a long time, I had mixed results by simply putting water on the dry food; however, this makes a huge difference, and even if they only drink the liquid at first, they are getting some supplement to help them at this high-growth developmental stage. They are about a pound and a half at three weeks, but once they begin eating this, they grow extremely quickly, gaining around four pounds in the three weeks I add it to their food. In just three weeks, you've nearly tripled your weight. br>br>I swear by Esbilac; it's a top-notch product. I think it's fresher when I get it from Amazon than if I get it from Petsmart where it's been sitting on the shelf for weeks or years. Because it's made in the United States, I have faith in it.

The best puppy milk substitute ever! We were asked to foster a puppy for a week, but she turned out to be pregnant and delivered two puppies in the back of our SUV, surprising us! We began feeding the Pet Ag Esbilac to our foster mother and puppies because she was severely underweight and unhealthy
5/5

They all enjoyed it, eating every two hours, gaining a healthy amount of weight, and thriving! It's incredibly simple to mix and has greatly simplified our lives! We were able to manage everything smoothly thanks to Amazon and their almost instantaneous shipping, as well as their great prices! Thank you very much! Thank you very much! Thank you very much! I wish the company produced infant formula for humans!.
