This January, I will be working on a new project The owner had a 4 day old infant goat with a broken leg, a badly burned eye, and lacerations that had never received colostrum (he claims a donkey kicked it when born). This was given to me by my mother, who was overwhelmed. His appetite for this formula was very good and he took to it almost immediately. After I first got him, he was very weak and could not walk for three weeks. However, every time I offered him food, he ate it. In addition, he had to cope with pneumonia and scours. I gave him this and Probios probiotics. I believe that both have helped him. From the time he was a newborn to the time he weaned, he consumed this brand and he is currently a very stocky, happy, healthy, and active young boy. They seem to get a lot of good nutrition from it. The results have been good.
The cats did not like this brand, compared to the previous one. This brand did not appeal to them when I ordered it for a temporary period when my standby was unavailable. Is too much soy good for us?.
The vet said that this food caused an obstruction in their intestines that they were not able to digest because the formula became too hard in their intestines.
In the case of our orphaned newborn calf, Unimilk has been a wonderful substitute for mother's milk.
Besides my other expensive foal milk replacers, I also bought this one to extend their shelf life.
