My dog's back legs and hips were beginning to stiffen. I've been using this product with a variety of dogs for a long time and it's great. I must say, however, that it only works well if you select the appropriate formula for your dog. The company's website has three levels that can be reviewed and evaluated. Choose the appropriate dosage and carefully follow the instructions, especially for the first dose to allow the dog's system to adjust. This is critical before moving on to the maintenance dose, which consists of fewer tablets per day. This product is beneficial for people with basic arthritis and minor hip dysplasia. If your dog is in severe pain or discomfort, consult your veterinarian first; some veterinarians support this product while others want to sell you expensive medicine. All I can say is that if your dog is only showing signs of arthritis or stiffness, this product might help. If you want to give your dog a better chance of living a longer and healthier life, start giving it to them as soon as they are a puppy and keep giving it to them until they are an adult; if you have a working/sport dog, start giving it to them right away and keep giving it to them until they are an adult.

We were heartbroken to learn that the sweet, loving, 80-pound golden retriever we had adopted had severe hip dysplasia and, despite the fact that she was still a baby, already had arthritis in many joints. She squeaked and cracked as she struggled to get up after lying down. We can't afford a double hip replacement, and the vet doesn't think a FHO is a good path to take with her because she has so many joints affected. He is concerned that one surgery will lead to more. My 12-year-old Dachshund was diagnosed with hip dysplasia, and while I was relieved that it wasn't her back, I was now worried about something else. She used to be unable to walk up or down stairs, and it was obvious that she was in pain. She would lie down because she was clearly in pain.
