It seems he has back and hip issues. For over a year, his tail has been in between his little legs. The vet said he has age-related issues, and gave me pain medications to keep him comfortable.

We have been together for over a year In the last few months, I have seen such a marked change in him since getting his pain under control, and I do not have to give him the medications he had been prescribed daily! Considering the fact that each one is different from the other, no consistent dosage can be applied. If this brand disappears, I'll go back to one of the other brands.

As soon as I switched him over to this, I stopped giving him separate glucosamines. I think he's improving, so I truly hope so. It's been a week since we started seeing him. But here's the funny thing, he won't eat them from my hand, but if I toss them his way, he will eat them. "Chocolate lab!" he shouts, grabbing them right up (he likes chocolate!) The minimum I plan to try is for a few months and get a feel for the practice.

The products work great for my dog. I've been using them for a month or so. Several months ago, he began limping a bit after running and just generally was less energetic and slower in the mornings. He is now just about back to normal, running to bark at the neighbors dogs after breakfast and jumping up easily on the bed and couch, which is pretty impressive for a 9yr old overweight (70lbs) collie mix which is weighed just under 30lbs! There is nothing better than these in his opinion. Every time I feed him, I give him one to make sure his bark is balanced- His new low-quality taste is like a bad breath Cal food smells like bark (I haven't tried it yet, I just smell the scent). We are working hard to get him to lose.
