Great product! It helped our lab a lot, but unfortunately, she was 12 1/2 years old when she tore her ACL, and was too old for surgery. Having crossed the rainbow bridge, she now rests in peace.
Our dog would not eat them from this last purchase as the packaging fell apart. Having to hide them in her food, we purchased this item several times previously. There was never a time when this happened before.
A lab I own has been suffering from severe joint pain since he was 11 years old. Her liver can be damaged by prolonged use of Rimidyl, which we were giving her at the time. The dog doesn't like them. I have to cut them up and put them in her food so she won't eat them. It did not seem they had a miraculous effect in the beginning, but their effect settled down. Because I am unable to come up with any other solution for her lameness, I give her these pills.
