Questions & Answers

What's the difference between a feline eye wash and a canine eye wash?

The ingredients may be the same, but the concentration percentages may differ. If you plan to use one bottle for both species, you should consult a local veterinarian first.

What about the crusty stuff that gets in the eyes of yorkies? Will it get rid of it?

This product is excellent for removing dirt and other debris from the eyes, as well as eye boogies that have formed around the eyeball. Miracle care sterile eye wipe pads are a product that I would recommend. They are what I use for my German shep. Allergies cause the custies in the corners of the eyes for who knows how long. I use them twice a day and reward him with a treat after each use, so he associates eye cleaning with something positive rather than something he despises. Also, because the pads are presoaked, they will not irritate the eyeball if they come into contact with it. If your Yorkie has tear stains, I've heard that angel eyes can help, and that there are treats that can help with tear staining as well. I have no idea what brand this is.

Is this effective in reducing Cherry Eye irritability?

Answer from the wiki; "Cherry eye can be resolved with a downward diagonal-cut if caught early," says the author. closes the snout eye massage or, on rare occasions, self-massage of the affected eye Corrects on its own or in conjunction with antibiotics and steroid injections. 3 Occasionally, the prolapse will correct itself without intervention, or with only minor physical manual massage manipulation as needed in conjunction with medication. 3br>In summary, this will not resolve an acute or large Chery eye situation, but it may be a solution to try before undergoing surgery. Best of luck!

My Shih Tzu, who has overactive tear glands in one eye, was a rescue dog. love her. Is this something that might be of assistance?

I have the same problem with a small rescue cat I have, and it appears to help her; in fact, I rarely have to use it now, so I hope it works for you as well.

My puppy developed red eyes from playing in the park, rubbing his head in the grass, and sensitivity from the cleaning agent at the doggie daycare, and there is a better alternative
3/5

I purchased this bottle of "Eye Wash," but the instructions stated that droplets should be placed in the eyes. To that end, this is not an eye wash, but rather an eye drop. I ended up using Pharmacy brand Human Eye Wash once or twice a day (just squirt into puppy's eyes and let it run off his face, then dry with Qtip/cotton ball) and it's kept his eyes from bothering him since. Treatment options for dogs are more expensive.

It worked perfectly! My dog developed a creamy goop infection in his eye
5/5

The veterinarian performed a corneal examination and then prescribed antibiotics and anti-inflammatories. anti-inflammatory drops to be used four times a day for a week in both eyes. Because my dog disliked them, getting one drop into each eye took several attempts. A tiny 0. We used nearly two 2 ounce bottles over the course of the week for a total cost of $22. The creamy goop reappeared a week later or so later. br>br>Because I assumed the cornea was still intact, I used Vetericyn Eye Wash, which worked! She did it four times a day for a week, and her eye is now clear. I just give her a rinse every few days to clear out any potential debris because she likes to bury her head in dusty bushes.

Great! These eye drops are very effective in flushing out my dog's eyes
5/5

They don't seem to mind if I do it, and the drops don't irritate or sting my dog's eyes in any way. In our town, we have terrible allergies, so flushing their eyes is a must if they don't want to get eye boogers and teary eyes. These drops appear to have a significant impact. I also like that this product says it won't harm you if you eat it by accident, because that means it's free of harmful ingredients. Vetericyn is a brand that I really like. They produce high-quality, animal-friendly products.

A fantastic item! This summer, both of my dogs (a Pomeranian (15 lbs) and a Doberman mix (55 lbs) developed a mysterious goopy infectious mess coming from their eyes
5/5

In most cases, I am strongly opposed to the use of antibiotics on animals. In the long run, I believe it damages them. So, before I go to the vet and get antibiotics, I always try to use other methods. I'm not the type to put my animals through pain, and I'd never jeopardize their health by refusing to take medications prescribed by a veterinarian. But I figured I'd give it a go and see what I could come up with. It was a perfect solution. Putting the drops in was a little difficult at first, but after a few weeks, they got used to it and the problem cleared up nicely. I also apply it to a cotton ball to clean their eyes in general. It doesn't bother them in the least. There were no negative side effects. It doesn't bother them in the least - They've become so accustomed to it that they're just sitting there waiting for me to finish installing it. br>I'd recommend giving it a shot before going to the vet and spending $100. I believe you will be pleased with the results. However, keep in mind that it will take about two weeks to completely clear up.

Allergies will benefit from this
5/5

Every year, my dog develops allergies, and he scratches his eyes raw, resulting in a "panda eye" effect; we've taken him to the vet, but the ointment prescribed to him provided only temporary relief. Because allergy season is starting up again, I decided to take a chance on this product, and I'm glad I did! He is no longer scratching his eyes and his eyes have basically healed 100% within a week of using this product. Saw results the first time we used it, and I am This product is highly recommended for those who suffer from allergies in the same way.

It really works
4/5

For my Shar Pei's eyes, I bought the Vetericyn Canine Eye Wash 4 oz. This breed of dog has issues with their eye lashes irritating their eyes because of their wrinkles. My dog gets a lot of benefit from these drops. There don't appear to be any side effects from the drops. She is excited to have them implanted in her eyes. If your dog's eyes are irritated, give these drops a try; they're very effective. I purchased the Vetericyn Canine Eye Wash 4oz at full price and would gladly do so again.

My dog is a beagle, and beagles are prone to eye infections
5/5

My dog is a beagle, and beagles are prone to eye problems. My 2-year-old beagle's eye was very red, and there was some mucus buildup. Rather than spending $300 on a vet visit, I decided to give this a shot and see how it went. It resolved his eye problem in just two days. 3 days. There is no longer any redness, and there is no booger accumulation. Obviously, I'm not a veterinarian, so if you think your pet's problem is serious, take them to a veterinarian; otherwise, try this for eye problems instead.

Thanks be to God for these
5/5

My little shih tzu, Sammy, has those big eyes in his furry little pug nose face, as you may be aware. As a result, he tries to wipe them away with his paws or on the carpet on a regular basis. I tell him he'needs eye medicine' after I rinse his eyes with cool water and pat them dry with a paper towel. He dashes in, hops up, and waits for me to bring the 'eye medicine. ' because he gets a vitakraft p- treat after the eye medicine is applied b treats! He adores them, so a smidgeon of p- b helps you swallow your medicine!.
