It's only a lubricant, after all. When our dog's eyes couldn't blink due to a nerve problem, it was critical to keep them functioning. Please accept our apologies for the delay in receiving it. Orally, he was also on steroids.
This product was highly recommended by both my eye doctor and my regular veterinarian, and it has worked wonders for my dry eyes.
The one I have has a 2/23 expiration date. I've had it for a long time, and it's a fantastic eye lubricant for our Yorkie.

Our Yorkie's eyes are dry, so he requires drops 3- 4 times a day is a good rule of thumb. Our vet said he'd give him an ointment to put in his eyes. I inquired as to his thoughts on Aventix. He was aware of the eye lube. He said to try it, and if it didn't work, he'd write an eye ointment script. The Aventix performed admirably, and we continue to use it on a daily basis. We took our Yorkie in for his yearly heartworm snap test. The vet remarked that his eyes look 100% better than the last time he saw him. We saved a lot of money with this product.
Have a canine companion who suffers from dry eyes and cataracts that are progressing.
