This will help remove crust from my dog's eyes, but it will work better if I mix it with warm water. A warm washcloth was what I used to use. There isn't much of a distinction between the two. When I run out of this, I'll just use a warm washcloth because there's no point in paying for this when I can do the same thing for free by soaking these in warm water.
My dog is prone to a build-up of mucus in his intestines. hardened or crusty deposits in the corner of the eye due to an accumulation of eye secretions. These wipes soften the deposits so they can be removed more easily and without pain. It might take a few wipes to loosen the deposit, but it's a game changer when it comes to cleaning your pet's eyes.
These were given to us by our veterinarian after our dog's eye became infected. He's an old man, and he despises the crusty goo we used to clean it with. I let him sniff these wipes so he knows what's going on, and then I just hold it over his eye and he gently rubs it. We chose this location because it was significantly less expensive than the Vet. Four times a day, we must clean that eye.
One of my dogs had to have an eye removed, and the Eye Specialist Veterinarian gave me these to use after the surgery to clean the area around her eye. Since then, I've purchased them solely to keep my dog's eyes clean. I now have a young Cocker Spaniel who has an eye infection, and my regular veterinarian also recommended these. The wipes are sufficiently moist to be used on a regular basis. But, in order to clear her infection, I also purchased the liquid to apply to the wipe in order to ensure that I thoroughly cleaned her eyes. They cost about half as much here as they do in the United States. what the veterinarian charges.
Cleaning our Shih Tau's eyes was suggested by our veterinarian. Cleaning of the eyes is done on a daily basis. Due to supply and demand, the price nearly tripled in three months. WOW.
My dog suffers from chronic dry eyes, which result in mucus build-up in her eyes. These were purchased to assist in the cleaning of her eyes. br>br>They work and clean, but the material was a little rough on her eyes, so I couldn't use them more than once a day. br>br>This isn't to say that the product isn't good; it simply means that it may not be ideal for certain uses and frequencies.
Years ago, I used these on my Exotic Shorthair kitten, and now I use them on my senior Mini Aussie dog. They're simple to use, gentle, and don't cause any discomfort. They're far superior to any other brand I've tried in the past. This product is fantastic, and I hope it is always available.
These wipes are great for keeping my dog's eyes clean because he has an eye condition. I use them very gently, and he doesn't seem to mind. My only gripe is that they are overpriced on Amazon compared to where I usually buy them. They are, however, excellent eye wipes in all other respects.
