There is no odor on this specific eye cleaner. For several years, we've used this product on our white schnauzer and salt/pepper puppies. Excellent product for cleaning around the eyes, and the puppies have never been irritated by it. The jar is kept moist. I've given the product to a number of dog owners as a recommendation. My take.

I'm a dog groomer, so I usually remove fleas with my Bravura clippers, but if you're new to it, the flea comb is a good option. Please don't be one of those dog owners who lets nasty boogers accumulate on their pet's face. Your dog's face will be kept clean and comfortable with just a warm washcloth and the use of this product as needed. If your dog has gotten dirt or hairs in his eyes, this product can also be used as a rinse. To warm the product and make it more comfortable to use, I recommend placing it in a jar of very warm water before using it.
These were purchased to treat my dog's booger stains in his eyes.
