Questions & Answers

Is it better to drop this directly into the dog's eyes or to spread it around their eyes?

You squeeze the product into your eye by pulling the lower lid down. I also clean each eye with some squeezed onto a sterile cotton ball.

Is there a way to use this to treat pinkeye?

Although I believe it is possible, this does not imply that it will cure pinkeye.

Is this helpful in terms of style?

I'm not sure if it'll help with styes, but it did help with my cat's eye infection.

Is this something you can do with reptiles as well?

Yes, you can, for the sake of their eyes.

Because the tear ducts in my American Bulldog aren't working, I've been giving him Opti-Cal. invincible To keep her at ease, Puralube was used. I noticed her third eyelid, the pink membrane that cradles her eyeball, had swollen after the first application. red. I squirted a drop into my own eye because I was alarmed. My eyelid clung to the surface of my eyeball almost immediately. My eyelid detached after a lot of blinking, but it was swollen. I was in a lot of pain now, and it felt like I had a large eyelash in my eye. I tried to flush it out with water, but it didn't work. I believe the gel clung to my eyelids' edges. My eye's surface was being scraped. I couldn't get it out of my head for some reason. It took about a half-hour for the pain to go away. After reading so many positive reviews about this product prior to purchasing it, I decided to give it another shot the next day. I gave it a good shake. squirt a drop of something into my other eye My eyelid was stuck to my eye once more, but this time it wasn't as bad. It wasn't as bad as it had been, but it had been 15 minutes. It hasn't gone away. I can't look my dog in the eyes with this. It's also not worth returning at $11 in shipping costs. Maybe I just got a bad bottle, but I'm not interested in trying it again. Let's stick with Puralube for now.

The price was well worth it, and it worked flawlessly
5/5

My boxer dog scratched her eye, so I purchased this. I'm fed up with astronomically high vet bills. Even the tiniest item was exorbitantly priced. Easy to use and after five days of using her eye looked 90% better and she stopped trying to constantly scratch it herself she stopped trying to continuously scratch it herself Her eye is 100% back to normal after two weeks of using it is 100% back to normal after two weeks of using it is 100%% I wish I had taken before and after pictures. You'd be blown away. I was!.

I was able to avoid having to go to the vet
4/5

Fritzy the cat's last trip to the vet resulted in them being unable to remove him from his cary case, so when his eye began to show signs of infection, I knew I needed to try something at home first, and his eye is now completely healed! He didn't like it the first few times I gave it to him, but once it became routine and he knew he'd get a treat, he didn't mind.

VERY DANGEROUS
3/5

We've had good results with the liquid version of this product, but the gel causes a lot of pain and redness that lasts for days. I'm just hoping it didn't cause any long-term harm. The eyeball appears to be red, and some of it appears to be peeling away. I'm wondering if this product's batches are inconsistent because the thickness prevents the ingredients from mixing evenly throughout the product, resulting in some good bottles and others that are too concentrated and caustic to the eye. As a result, there are a variety of opinions. Who can say?.

IT DOESN'T GET RID OF THE INFECTION
3/5

I had previously purchased Terramycin gel, which works much better than MicrocynAH Gel, which is failing to cure the infection in the kitten's eyes. The MicrocynyAH Gel is not something I would recommend.

Our dog had an eye infection, which was quickly treated with this. This stuff is nice and think, which makes it easy to apply because we have a pug.

Gentle on the eyes
5/5

This gel has significantly improved the condition of my Persian cat's eyes. It only takes a small amount of product applied to a clean papertowel or tissue to get the job done. I first tried it on myself to make sure it didn't sting, which it didn't. As a result, it is extremely secure. It is gentle on your pets and effectively cleans their eyes.

It's true that one-star ratings are accurate
3/5

We recently acquired two six-month-old kittens, both of whom are infected with feline herpes. Their eyes become goopy and they develop conjunctivitis as a result of this. I tried the vetceryn eyedrops but didn't like how messy they were and how much product was wasted, so I wanted something that I could smear across their eyes like an ointment or gel. This product received one star reviews from customers who claimed it burned their pets' eyes and aggravated their condition. Regardless, I decided to give it a shot. As a result, it had no effect on one kitten and significantly worsened the eyes of the other, i. e. , irritated, and cloudy The bottle is now in the trash, and I'm back to using vetceryn eyewash because, despite the mess, it works well.
