According to what we've heard, they take their products very seriously! They were recommended by our veterinarian even before they were discovered in South Carolina! The fact that they treat their employees well is their most valuable asset. We use their products on our ten-year-old dog!
Hello. Our senior dog (80 pounds, 13 years old) is on both Cosequin and Cosequin Plus. Previcox. Both of these products have made a significant difference in our boys' senior years. We began using Cosequin with him a few years ago. He had a lot of mobility changes. ability to be active He struggled to get out of a laying down position before Cosequin. Cosequin helped a lot with that, as well as making him more active.br>br>After a while, he started having more mobility issues (especially with stairs), frequent soreness, and other issues. For lack of a better term, he appeared to be lazier than usual on occasion. Previcox made a difference in his life - His mobility has improved, as has his level of activity (he plays with his favorite squeaky ball every day like a puppy). In addition, his general disposition improved. In addition, there was no longer any soreness! br>br>For our boy, the combination of Cosequin and Previcox has been fantastic. We'll keep him on it as long as we can. Our 20-pound, almost-3-year-old min pin chihuahua mix (who has luxating patella) is also on Cosequin. It has made it less likely for her knee to slip out). br>br>Both supplements are highly recommended. We've tried a number of them (including Dasuquin). Cosequin is the only one who comes close. Maximum strength is the "highest" dosage, and double strength is one step up from "regular strength."
I'm not sure, but it appears to be made in the United States. I'm very selective about who I give my Doberman USA made to. I just got another C osequin order and checked, but it didn't say. My 12-year-old Dobie, on the other hand, enjoys taking the product because it has no side effects and I combine it with natural vitamins; he gets excited when he sees me grab the two bottles.

The backs of the labels don't match, which I noticed - The one from Amazon is missing the "Made in the USA" stamp. bogus item - Please take it down!.
I usually give Nutramax Cosequin DS Plus with MSM Chewable Tablets to my dog to help with her arthritic hips and inflammation. I switched to this product after hearing that adding HA would make it even better. Unfortunately, my dog had a bad reaction to this supplement due to either bad ingredients or an allergy to HA. She became nervous and anxious after only two days on this new medication, and she stopped eating and sleeping. She'd pace and stare until she passed out at all hours of the day and night. When she tried to lay down or get into her bed, she acted as if she was in pain. We wondered if it was the new supplement after a week of this (and a trip to the vet who recommended anxiety meds). All symptoms vanished two days after discontinuing the supplement.
Our hearts have been sinking as he has been losing strength in his back legs (he has not yet been diagnosed with myelopathy). Then - On his front left leg, he started limping badly. He's left with only one good leg (front right) to hold everything together. We didn't have this - until now. We were unable to achieve any success with our efforts. The combination, on the other hand, may be noteworthy. We've noticed that since using the CBD oil, he's stopped pacing at night - and had a much better night's sleep. Following the addition of these cosequin tablets - It was no longer painful. The results have left me both happy and surprised.
I decided to give Cosequin DS Plus MSM HA for Dogs a try. I started her on two chews per day for three weeks, then one chew per day as a maintenance dose, as directed by the instructions. The Cosequin appears to have aided her in some way. Her gait is no longer stiff, and she can run around normally. I am very pleased with the results, and I am about to purchase another bottle, as she takes the tablets readily with her morning treats, often eating the tablet first.
My dog's movement was improved as a result of using this product. My GS, who was eleven years old at the time, was in serious trouble. Euthanasia had already been suggested by a number of people. However, this product was recommended to me by my granddaughter (a vet student), and it worked! My dog does not run around, but she does stand, walk short distances, and appears to be content. She continues to limp, but no euthanasia is planned at this time.
Even though I am opposed to medication, I was moved to write things in desperation when he was in such pain. This is the genuine article! It is pricey, but it is well worth it. To disguise the fact that my dog won't eat the tablets, I powder them and sprinkle a little on each meal I prepare for him (he's only 20 pounds). This is fantastic. Never again will I be without.
