Questions & Answers

There is a comment here that it is not different from the types used for humans, but can anyone (maybe a doctor) give more specifics that make it ?

Although I am not a doctor, I am a scientist and I used it on myself long before I had to use it on my pets (no, I am not ready to spend the rest of my life in jail! ). A result of the cut wound I received by cutting the lid of a dog food can, blood started to flow. I usually suffer from pressure and panic, but this time I used the styptic gel and it worked wonderfully. In spite of the fact that I am a medical technologist knowledgeable about genetic factors and a microbiologist knowledgeable about microorganisms, I was surprised by how well and quickly his program You can let me know what the doctor has to say if you hear from him. If the lack of Coagfactor VIII or IX is the culprit, this way may work for them.

A date has been set for this offer? Does it last forever, or does it last ?

I found mine to have an expiration date at the bottom of the plastic container (not the package). My purchase is likely to have been made I think it's going to expire on 02/17. My phone would have been three years old at the time I bought it. Last time I bought Kwik Stop, I was able to keep it for over twelve During the 10 years I owned it, I had no problems with it. The formula (ingredients) may have been modified, but I am not sure. Best of luck in all you do.

Is it good for shaving your nips?

If I understand you correctly, the answer is While I was careful not to cut too much into his nails, he did scratch my daughter when he was trying to escape, and it worked well on her where he drew

The product is sealed when it arrives, right?

Despite having a lid, no safety seal is on it, which was a bit surprising.

A sanitary product applied to an open wound is unsanitary! I am very confused by the reviews this product has received
3/5

Similarly, mine came with no sanitary seal, and it looks as if it's half filled. The product which goes on open wounds does not have any type of sanitation seal on it, so I don't understand why it was sent out. Flabbergasted is the best word to describe how I feel. Nothing about this makes sense to me. If this product does not have a seal, do not buy it. Putting this on your pets is supposed to touch open wounds. You don't know what you are putting on them. It disgusts me to no end.

It is used
3/5

Unfortunately, the product I received does not appear to be sealed. It is less than half full and has red stains on the Since the product was returned, I probably got someone's return. Yuck! I should have read the reviews first.

I think both of the kwik stops had weird red powder substances on them
3/5

In one of them there are half the powder, in the other it seems there is also some missing. It was a new order, not a used one. These two bottles looked open to me, and I have no idea what was on them. I called customer support and they were offline, so I need to call again. I don't think that's right. No one tells me what was in the bottles that I was just exposed to.

It works right away
4/5

I will begin by saying Wet the q-tip and place powder on it Here are a few tips before you start clipping nails or grooming. I ordered a grooming kit and got the powder with it. In the past, I have taken my dog to a groomer, but I had trouble getting an appointment, so I decided to trim his nails instead. I hit the quick on one nail and everything went well until then. My first reaction was not that it was a bloodbath, but it was. He was able to hold our dog while I put the powder on his nail, which was a blessing. I was very surprised at how quickly the bleeding stopped the moment I applied the powder. We will no longer see blood or cry tears. As soon as he calmed down, our dog was back to normal. The one thing I do not like about the product is that it is not sealed. If not a pull tab around the lid, something with that effect would be better.

Since it was invented, I have used it for over 20 years
4/5

Worked like a charm! Our pets include a cat and a parrot. The nails on our pets are always trimmed, unlike many pet owners. However careful you are, you sometimes end up cutting through the quick even with your best efforts. Your beloved pet and you both suffer from this terrible experience. Being prepared is comforting for me, so I keep a jar of Miracle Care Kwik Stop Styptic Powder around. Not sure why it works on some and not on others. Sometimes it stops a terrible bleed immediately, sometimes it takes many applications to stop a trickle. A jar of my favorite chewing gum has been in my possession for twenty years and it is almost gone, so I ordered another one. As you can see, it does not In addition, they had a "new" gel product that I thought I should Having known the powder works for so long, I kept using I paid full price for this purchase since it was a personal purchase.

The seal was missing, and the product looked used
3/5

This product was originally going to be returned for the following reasons Please note - There were no signs of a lock on the door In addition to or instead of using it as soon as it arrived - A powder was on the outside of the container*cough-cough-cough-cough-cough There were still half an inch of space in the container. - No safety seals could be found on the container itself. No seal was on the box in which it arrived* - As far as I could tell, the box it came in did not leak during transit based on lack of powder inside. This would suggest it was opened in advance and would not have been shut down Powder may have been removed and there may have been some damage There is a possibility that the remaining powder is My decision to not return the product was based on the fact that, later, when I asked the veterinarian what he used when I brought my dog to him for a torn toenail, he replied, "Kwik Stop. ". It was so painful for him and for his family when it happened Foot pain made it impossible for him to bear weight. It appeared, however, that his relief was immediate In fact, he was able to walk on the damaged part of his paw after the vet put a powder and cream on it The bandage was placed on It seems to be the same product, so it must be a good product if it is. If I could find it locally in a store near me, I might still return this one because it may have been used. A tampering has taken place.

The same applies to humans as well
5/5

In the beginning, I purposely ordered this to have on hand in case I accidentally cut my dog's claw too short. However, we never actually needed it for that purpose. Although one member of the family was taking blood thinning medication, he still suffered a minor Because of the blood thinners, we were unable to stop the small amount of bleeding even after washing up and working with infection control. It wasn't substantial enough to pose a risk, but about an hour later, the problem became more acute, and we began to worry that we might have to go in and cauterize it somehow or other. The problem was, however, resolved and stayed resolved once we got this Styptic out and used just a little of it. Our thanks go to the supplier for providing such a great product, and even better, for selling it for about half the price of what we could have got it for at the drugstore, if it had.

Being able to have it without having to use it would be better
5/5

This is a must-have when we need to trim the nails of our guinea pigs. The quick is easy to see on his front nails, but the quick on his back nails is dark and once we (my GF and I) got it, it was pretty easy to see on his back nails. Fortunately, we had this stuff at hand, and as soon as we dipped his finger into it, the bleeding stopped. It was my girlfriend who was in school to become a vet tech, and she told me she preferred the powder form, so I bought it for her. I also chose the smallest container because she's pretty adept at avoiding the creatures that jump up when they're suddenly threatened.
