It works well, but drying them takes a long time. And if you're looking for something more powerful, you'll have to look elsewhere. This works great on a Shih Tzu or a husky puppy, but I think you'll need more power to loosen up the undercoat on an adult husky.
I keep mine on the table with my dogs, and it's about 2 feet long. It isn't a big deal because the unit is super quiet.
I don't think there's any reason why it shouldn't be done. This is how I blow dry my Korean Maltese puppies who have long hair.
Yes, it saves a lot of time because the airflow is three times stronger than when using your hands. dryer. Can blow out any breed of dog, including German Shepards, Samoyeds, and Golden Retrievers. You can even blow mini dogs because the airflow can be adjusted.

I did a lot of research before purchasing this model, and I was concerned that it would not be a high-quality product at this price. I try to wait at least five months before writing a review for a product (especially one that is motorized). I don't think it's helpful to write a review for a product you've only had for a few weeks. So, I purchased his on 1/4/18 (eight months ago) and it has seen a lot of use. A large GSD with a thick coat belongs to me. It took me at least an hour to dry my dog before I took the plunge and ordered this (and that was after I REALLY towel-dried him). I did the best I could to dry her out). She'd be "damp and dry" even then. " Thanks to this small miracle, we were able to cut our time in half. I can towel my girl off with one of her wonderful Mugzy's Mutt towels, then turn this thing on high with heat and she'll be bone dry and looking like she just came from the groomer's in 20 minutes. Words of caution that I shouldn't have to post but will anyway: Please don't blow it in your dog's eyes or ears (unless you want to contribute to early blindness). This is a VERY STRONG THING! I never use anything on my dog's body that I haven't tested first, so please turn this thing up and point it at yourself to see what I'm talking about. Also, when the heat is turned on, DO NOT GET TOO CLOSE TO YOUR DOG AND KEEP IT MOVING OR YOUR DOG WILL BE BURNT. Once it's warmed up with the heat option on (about 2 minutes), test it on yourself to see how long you can keep it close to your skin before it becomes uncomfortable - It was a very short time. I prefer to turn on the heat, let it warm up for a few minutes, and then turn it off (unless it's extremely cold outside) because the air temperature is warm but not hot by that time. That way, you have a much lower chance of burning your baby. If you're not careful, it's very easy to become distracted and leave the dryer on one spot for too long. If you're concerned, use it without the heater (which is a great option for this small powerhouse). I'll admit that I only use the tip that I like best. I have, however, used the free grooming mitt a few times and it is very effective. By the way, if you're doing your job as a dog owner and brushing them at LEAST every other day, you shouldn't see a lot of hair flying from your dog. This should not be used to "de-escalate" any situation. "hair" your canine companion - Brushing provides much more health benefits than simply removing hair, which is why gentle dog brushes exist. My only regret is that I didn't discover this little miracle years ago, when I could have saved myself countless hours of drying time for my daughter. This feels well-made, and I've been using mine at least four times a week since May, as I swim with my dog four times a week. Therapy sessions are held six times per week. So, in the eight months I've had it, I feel like I've really put it to the test. I hope you have found this information to be beneficial.
My poor dryer has apparently reached the end of its useful life and will not turn on any longer. Still deserving of my five-star rating. br>br>Recently updated review: It is now March 21, 2019, and I purchased this in October of 2017. IT STILL WORKS, YOU GUYS. My dog has never had a matt in her life (except for small matts that I can comb out!) in the past two years. I've never had to take her to the groomers, either. For a broke poodle owner on poodle fur maintenance, this is truly the best thing money can buy. Guys, I'm saving a ton of money!br>br>I was hesitant to buy this dryer because there weren't a lot of reviews yet, and it appeared to be on sale, but I'm so glad I did! Not only is it extremely effective, but the price is unbeatable!! (Excuse me, I'm a broke college student. ) Isn't it incredible? Yes! It's incredibly easy to assemble, and figuring out how to operate the buttons and dials is straightforward. Extra blow drying heads, a nice brush, and a finger brush were all welcome additions to the package! br>br>Because my maltipoo's coat is thick, I finally decided I needed a proper dryer. I used to use a regular human hair dryer and it never gave me that, as she is more on the poodle side. When poodles leave the groomers, they typically have an "out of the groomers" appearance. Her coat had never looked like that before! This little device is extremely powerful, and it caught my poor pooch off guard, causing her to bolt. I started it on the lowest setting and gradually increased it as she became more comfortable. (She mistook it for a vacuum cleaner nozzle!) ) The results astounded me! Because of the instant drying, her fur was straighter and fluffier, and I was able to spot developing matts that needed to be combed out! It's very light, portable, and quiet, and I love that it's pink! I would recommend this dryer to anyone looking for one!.
My daughter works as a professional groomer, and she adores this dryer. Uses it on a daily basis at work. It works just as well as the $300 one she was previously using.
As the mother of two naughty pugs, I can confidently state that this dryer has improved our lives. They don't seem to appreciate it as much as I do, but my olfactory system takes precedence over their taste in funk. I like how it heats up, and it does. It also has a knob for adjusting the blasting power, which ranges from "gentle breeze" to "holy sh*t, it blew the chihuahua over. " "br>br>Since purchasing it in late 2017, I've used it three times per week and it's still going strong. My preferred method of grooming.
This product is excellent value for money. br> I decided to look for another dryer after purchasing a more expensive pet dryer machine that stopped working after two uses (store took it back), and I found this one made by Shelandy. I ordered it to give it a try, and if it didn't work, I would simply return it. The pet dryer arrived quickly to my surprise, and after a quick inspection with the multimeter (yes, I'm an electric freak lol), it passed the test with flying colors, providing the same or better results than the more expensive brand. br>I would highly recommend this Shelandy product. br>Recent changes: After ten uses with this dryer, it still works flawlessly as it did the first time.
