I didn't notice anything unusual about the scent, as it's just as strong as normal human shampoo/conditioner. Honestly, I really like the conditioner and have used it many times! There is a sweet scent that lingers for a couple of days after washing, but it is not overwhelming. She gets super tangled easily as a senior poodle because of her curly hair, and she doesn't like to be brushed. In most cases, I leave the conditioner in for several minutes after shampooing, then work my way from ends to roots with a brush to detangle while it is still wet. The brushing system allows her to brush less often, reduces grooming time, and makes her fur more fluffy and soft!.

I think this is great for our mini poodle and our They have nice, soft, shiny coats as a result of it. This smells so good and I love having that smell in my bathroom after bath time. While the scent is quite strong while you are using it, once your dog is dry and then brushed your dog's hair it fades out and then your dog just smells clean and feels soft. The cream rinse I use most on the dogs is currently this one. The only thing I wish was that it came in multiple scents.

There is so much more to this product than what you can see in the picture. And excuse the dog's mess. His curls look so gorgeous after using this shampoo and I'm talking ringlets especially when he has a new haircut. He smells as good as he looks, and his hair is shiny, curly, and thick after he gets finished. Every time I smell him and smell his scent, I receive a lot of compliments. You should definitely give it a try!.

My Pekingese's coat has problems being properly moisturized because the scent does not last more than one day, and the conditioner doesn't penetrate or isn't thick enough. Her coat is small and smooth, not the long and poofy one that show dogs have. She's a rescue, and she came to me shaved, and her fur is growing back, but the short and mid term growthback will be very coarse and dry feeling. The Aussie Moist conditioner has worked so far, and I definitely notice she smells yummy. I realize you should not use human products on dogs, but I have tried a few different products so far, and I believe the Aussie Moist worked best for me.

Could be useful for dogs with finer hair and fur, like Maltese or Shih Tzus?.

We have found that this stuff actually works for our Pekingese quite well. The conditioner helps him comb his fur a bit better, and his coat feels a bit softer after using it. Also, it made our Boston terrier's short hair feel softer, even though his coat has very short hair. The smell of this stuff is also quite pleasant, I felt like eating a blueberry muffin after it was used. As a general rule, pet head is one of the best products I have seen.
