I was quite surprised to find a package from scaredy cut in the mail today, and I wasn't sure what to expect. The box was big enough that I thought it might be a scissors sharpener. The first thing I noticed when I opened the package was not only a full size pair of their shears, but a check for a full refund on this product and the clipper set I had purchased. In my case, I didn't receive a refund since sometimes it can be too much trouble to get a refund. It was surprising and refreshing to receive a refund check from the company without asking for it. It is a pleasure to work with a company that stands behind their product. The 5 star rating is in recognition of their great customer service, commitment to customer satisfaction, and the desire to improve their product. There are no complaints about these scissors. They are sharp and pretty good. It did however pop off the first time I opened it because the pad intended to prevent the handles from clicking popped off. Once I retrieved that tiny little piece from the carpet, I put it back in, only to have it fall out again, and I haven't been able to find it since. In the event that these scissors live up to their promise, I would give them a 5 star review.
I gave this product 2 stars at the start This scissors really interests me, but I am unable to like them The five pairs of scissors I have tried (all yellow colors) are pulling hairs rather than cutting, at the last 1/8 inches (*3 mm) of the tip before the cut is complete. There are some issues with the blade being able to close/cut fully at the tip, making trimming eye hairs a bit of a problem It is torture to pull the trigger! I have dealt with some of the best people I have ever met. A great pair of scissors for the face are these small scissors. What an amazing group of people! The workmanship is unpolished and careless. The purchase I made has disappointed me greatly. Edges that are rough and scratchy all over the screw, on the blunt ends, and Despite the fact that it was carelessly made, it's an unpolished item I paid ten dollars for. There is no point in attempting to test it even if it is sharp (I don't even want to try it). In those cases where touching the scissors might cause you to get scratched, you should throw them in the trash.
