Yes, I think so. I have a total of eight Shihtzu puppies. The scissors have a lot of bite! They came in handy for trimming around their eyes and paws. I really liked how the ends were rounded.
The number six and the number six The total length, including the blade and handle, is 5 inches. These have already been used twice and have proven to be effective. My Maltese is extremely thin-haired.
I simply use soap and water to clean mine. To avoid rust, I open them, dry them with a towel, and then let them air dry for several hours before storing them. Some might argue that they should be sterilized, but I only use mine on my dog, so I haven't been concerned.
You should not cut the hair out of the ears as a professional pet groomer and store owner. You can buy a powder that we use to pull the hair out of our ears; we pull a few at a time rather than all at once. If you are unable or unwilling to do this, I recommend contacting your local pet groomer and asking them to do it for you. I charge $5 - $10 as a minimum charge. Depending on how bad they are and whether or not they are infected, they can cost anywhere from $10 to $20. I hope you find this information useful.

I must say, I'm very impressed. The green handles are a soft, comfortable material, not the hard, cheap plastic they appeared to be in the photos, and they are not as hard as they appear in the photos. I was also concerned that the holes would be too small to accommodate my fingers, but this was not the case. They have a great feel to them, and the scissors are made of high-quality materials. The product is well-designed and made, with razor-sharp edges. They appear to last a long time, but I'll return to this seller if I ever need another pair for grooming my small dog.
Grooming an Irish Wolfhound differs from grooming most other breeds in that you pluck out their outer coat to allow the inner growth to come in. To keep things neat and tidy, you'll need to cut around the head, feet, and tail area. br>br>I've purchased pet products from Pet Magasin in the past and have always been pleased. The two scissors included in this package are sharp with rounded tips, have finger holes large enough for my fat fingers, and can be easily disassembled for cleaning and lubrication. They're made of stainless steel that's of high quality in Taiwan. The back of the package includes instructions for cutting your pet's hair with these scissors.
The company is confident enough in their product to offer a two year warranty with 100% money back guarantee. That should be enough to convince you that Pet Magasin knows what they're doing when it comes to bringing a high-quality product to market. You're not going to be let down.
Max (grudgingly) concurs that these are ideal. Max is a 12-year-old Shihtzu puppy that I adopted when he was four years old. Little is known about his background, but he arrived emaciated, with one eye missing, despised by men, and in need of assistance. I say this to demonstrate his fear of clippers, scissors, and even a brush. I gradually adapted him to each, but he still only lets me use clippers on the back two-thirds of his body. So you'll have to do the rest with scissors, which he'll let you do. I've used a lot of scissors, some that came with grooming kits, some that I found in my sewing basket, and some that I bought at a pet store, and they all quickly became dull, pulled, didn't cut cleanly, and, worst of all, poked! Finally, I looked on Amazon and came across these. Because of the positive feedback, I decided to give them a try. Max is overjoyed that I did. When I pull out the scissors to trim his face and paws, he no longer runs. He isn't overjoyed, but neither is he terrified. br>The scissors are razor-sharp and have fantastic rounded tips. They cut cleanly the first time. They were completely unknown to me! I would buy these again and recommend them to a friend if the need arises.
I've had my scissors for about a month and have already put them to good use. My long-haired black cat has always disliked being brushed, and as a result, he develops thick hairballs close to his skin, which pull and cause pain. I've experimented with a variety of scissors over the course of his seventeen years, ranging from the most basic to the most expensive professional sets. br>br>These scissors are far superior to the $90 professional pair I purchased last year. When he's sleeping, he usually doesn't notice that I'm removing a hairball from him. They even cut through the thick mats he creates faster than the professional scissors I had previously purchased. These scissors are fantastic, and I can't recommend them highly enough. br>br>So far, they're as sharp as the day I got them, and they'll be simple to sharpen if necessary. Because I'm not the only one with a long-haired animal, I've already decided to buy a few more pairs for Christmas presents for my family/friends with pets.
I can't tell you how many different types of scissors I've used over the years (from inexpensive to extremely expensive). My Yorkie weighs 12 pounds and has straight (but thick) hair. I was interested in trying these after reading the reviews. I prefer the shorter ones because they are more maneuverable. I like the round ends because they prevent me from poking my munckin while grooming him, and they allow me to get into all of the nooks and crannies, such as between his paws. In general, the scissors are a great investment; I've been using them for a few months and haven't noticed any dullness yet. My fingers begin to hurt after more than 30 minutes of use (the grips in between aren't very good). They're also not as precise as a more "professional" pair, but they get the job done in the end.
I have a four-month-old baby. The hairs around her eyes are growing in and aggravating her eyes as she gets older. I went on the internet in search of a scissor with a rounded tip. These received rave reviews, and I liked the way they looked. I put them to the test today and was very pleased with the results. I'm left-handed, and I've had no problems with them. If I could just get Chloe to sit still long enough for me to groom her, I'm sure I could, and I'd give them a 5 star review. (You're a wiggle wart, aren't you?.
These scissors are absolutely fantastic. They have a knack for cutting hair quickly and with ease. I'm less concerned about having an accident now that the tips are rounded. I'm a self-taught groomer who appreciates any assistance I can get. After a few months of owning this set, I've noticed that the handles are folding over on themselves, making them difficult to use. Not at all what I had anticipated.
This pair of scissors is fantastic. They are razor-sharp on one end and have safety ends on the other. They're small enough to clip around the eyes and ears without cutting the skin. The package contains two scissors. One is made with the face in mind. The scissors are ideal for trimming all of the small areas on the dog that require trimming, as well as the longer hair. I was able to trim her hair without causing her any discomfort. I was blown away by the high quality of the scissors for the price, and I strongly suggest them- It has made a significant difference in the way I care for the dog.
