Poor design and poor fit made the product unusable. My recommendation wouldn't be to do that.
The brush is designed to be used for massaging shampoo into your dog's skin and deshedding it the hair does not stick to the brush thanks to its lack of traction.
You can use it for pets' baths, if your question is whether it is suitable for that purpose. I find it fascinating. In the only exception, the inside lining (where your hands are) is a soft fuzzy material that will get wet when you wear the rain jacket.
