It will, without a doubt, pick up human hair. However, cleaning the receptacle may be difficult depending on how long your wife's hair is.
To be honest, I've washed mine a few times and it still looks brand new. I used cold water and dawn detergent and was very careful, but according to the manual, you shouldn't wash it and should only clean it with a damp cloth.
I've used it in the car, on the couch, in bed, on his cat tree, in his tiny bed, and in my dining room chairs. The most wonderful thing that has ever happened.
Probably not, because wiry hair tends to tangle with fabric, making it nearly impossible to remove without the use of tweezers. It's a fantastic product that works on all the different types of hair and fur that float around my house and vehicles, so you should give it a shot. I recommend getting a Dyson vacuum cleaner.

It was $25 when I bought it. It has made my life easier, but there are a couple of points I'd like to make. In my experience, I must alternate between using this and a lint roller. The ChomChom roller effectively collects dog hair from flat surfaces and stores it in a compartment that you must empty after each use. Rather than peeling off lint roller sheets, I prefer this method. Every two months or so, I'd go through a new lint roller, and peeling off every sheet and then refilling each tube became tedious. You simply empty it and reuse it with this method. The fabric material wears out over time, so you'll need to replace it (depending on how much you've used it). I estimate that I'll require three of these per year. (Both of my small-breed dogs shed profusely. ) Also, I've noticed that this roller is best at picking hair off beds and other flat surfaces, but not so good at picking hair off clothes. To do that, I need to keep a lint roller on hand. The ChomChon appears to fluctuate in price. As I previously stated, I purchased it for $25, and it is now listed for around $40 on eBay. Given that it does not effectively remove hair from clothing and that you will eventually need to replace the product, it is quite costly. I'd say that $15-$20 is a good price. A price of $20 would be more appropriate.
I've had it for about two hours and have thoroughly cleaned it. I'm completely enamored with the couch, blinds, cat tree pad, and chair. This thing is so awesome that I think it deserves an award. Every event that highlights "things cat people need" should include it in raffle baskets, giveaways, and silent auctions, in my opinion. "br>br>It's better than those sticky rollers, it's better than that one-directional velvet wand thing that I always use the wrong way and ruin, it's the best; I don't have any before pictures because I went insane as soon as I started rolling stuff. Where has all of my crazed cat-related nonsense gone? Sticky rollers are fine for clothes, but this is the only product I've ever used to completely remove all of the cat hair from my bed. I've had a long-term relationship with one of my coworkers. 20-year-old woman with black hair Tabby, and it looks like it's snowing if you run your hands up his back a few times and fling the hair everywhere – he never stops shedding, no matter what I do. I can wear a black gown and roll around on my bed without getting a single hair on me after using the ChomChom. It's truly incredible. Even if you don't have a pet, you will receive one for Christmas. It doesn't matter to me because it's so good.
I'm extremely dissatisfied with the results! I was overjoyed when this was delivered to me yesterday. I was looking forward to using this when I woke up, but it didn't work. I would not squander my money in this manner.
It's actually quite clever. The roller is more of a rocker than a roller, in that it rocks and pivots back and forth as you "roll" it over things, which is more of a scraping action. Two sets of lint roller hairs grab the fur and deposit it in the chamber as you push and pull the ChomChom (one set grabs the hair as you push, the other set grabs the hair as you pull). I adore how I can cover a large surface area without having to empty the chamber, such as an entire couch, which would have required three or four tape roller sheets or ten tape roller sheets. Vacuuming for 15 minutes. The only drawback, I suppose, is that it necessitates some tension in the object you're rolling. I also wish the handle was a little more comfortable to hold (the bottom of the handle isn't smooth - see photo). It resembles a grate in appearance. See my video review for more information. In my opinion, the chom chom is the best method for removing animal fur. This thing is like god, it makes fabric look so fresh, and it works perfectly on my suede couches, giving them that "soft suede" look. It does exactly what it's supposed to do and collects all of the hair in a convenient bin. br>br>Ideal for furniture, upholstery, and car interiors. Because of the chom chom's rolling back and forth motion, items such as clothing and curtains must be held in place. It would make a fantastic present for anyone who has a pet.
It just wasn't going to happen. It's possible that the type of dog hair my kids have has something to do with it, but I doubt it. Inside the trap, there are brushes facing the opposite direction that grab the hair and keep it contained. It's simple to clean and a great value! It works so much better than any lint roller I've ever bought, and I was even able to remove her fur from my jeans with it. Get your hands on this!.
