It performs admirably. To avoid injuring my pet, I'm very gentle with it.
This should work on pit bulls; my cats have fine hair, and it helped them shed their undercoat very well. After using this tool to groom them, their fir now looks nice and shiny.
Yes, the Cockapoo dog will benefit from it. This brush was created with long haired, thick undercoat in mind. Getting the extra undercoat from your dog would be simple.
My dog likes to use the brush. He wore his hair in a med-to-short style. He's a cross between a heeler and a terrier.

This worked for the furminator(? ), as well as the top and undercoat. I believe it's called that) and other brushes I've used, with the exception that the hair is easier to remove. Because it removed so much and got the knots out so well, I was prepared to give it a decent rating, even if it fell short on getting the matted hair out. Then it occurred to me that I had been reading a lot about people's reactions to short strokes. I didn't do it that way because I thought it would pull and hurt her because she has long hair with mattes here and there (she's a long-haired rescue who's hair suddenly knots up and dreads despite brushing it almost daily), but instead of getting tired of it and me having to walk behind her still trying to brush, she actually laid down on her back! I could also work on her stomach. The short strokes worked the mattes away from her skin and they began to come out (instincts are to brush through on the mattes to get them out; don't do that). I won't be able to complete them all in one day, but I have already completed a number of difficult knots and some of the mattes. Don't force the thick mattes through; just use short strokes until they're worked out. br>br>*I get nothing from anyone. After looking at these a couple of times, I read a bunch of reviews and ran Fakespot on them before purchasing one.
We've tried several cat brushes, including the Furminator, and shave some of his hair down with pet shears on a regular basis, but nothing seems to get through the mats. I end up having to cut him with scissors, which is a risky job (I've cut him before). This tool makes removing mats and the thick undercoat where mats begin extremely simple and safe. This cat had just been bathed and brushed, so I went over him again with this brush. We had a cat-free zone in 15 minutes. a colossal clump of hair This brush was very gentle yet effective, and I would highly recommend it to any owner of a long-haired cat.
I have a few dogs, but this was purchased for my Shepherd/Lab mix with a medium length coat. I have a plethora of brushes in my collection. Some of them simply do not work. Some of them are difficult to work with. Some of them are disliked by the dogs, so I thought I'd give one more a try. As a result, the Maxpro was purchased. So, the included photo was taken three days after she was brushed with the Furminator, and the amount of fur removed was only from her throat and neck. It was a pleasure to hold and use. She didn't try to get away. It was also very simple to remove the fur from the blades after they had become clogged after several passes. She also feels a lot better now that she isn't covered in fur. I'm hoping it makes a significant difference in reducing the amount of fur in the house and car.
Brushing his mats is a nightmare for me because I have a particularly difficult ragdoll cat who can be aggressive. I was attempting to avoid a $250 veterinarian bill for anesthesia and the lion cut. I can now brush him for about 15 seconds with this after some practice, and it gets a LOT of hair. I still have to cut out some large mats, but after that, I get a golf ball-sized amount of hair twice a day with no bodily harm! That's pretty cool.
Our cats and dogs will love it. It gets rid of a ton of underwear. The pets are tolerant of it, but we must do it in small sections or they will become irritated.
br>I've even gone the human brush route, and this small, easy-to-hold brush removes all of her undercoat, which is a godsend when it comes to shedding. When she's cooler, she's a lot happier. br>This company appears to have a good understanding of what works and what doesn't when it comes to grooming your family pet(s). br>The handle isn't attached to anything. slips beneath the top fur and gets right to the old and new hair growing underneath. br>However, I must take extra caution not to pull through too quickly, as this small tool WILL get down to the skin and tangles if there are any. So, as far as my cat is concerned, that's it. There are no nicks or cuts, just a close proximity to obtain the additional hair. Although it is prudent to exercise extreme caution because the blades are sharp and the blades are nicely rounded so that the sharp edges are contained within the curve. It's almost like getting a mini-massage at the same time. This is an excellent grooming device. Thank you for taking the time to learn about how to groom my four-legged family member.
This brush is perfect for a cat with long hair and a thick undercoat. The car trip and the 3-hour drive used to cost $80 every two months to bathe and shave him in summer and winter cut styles, but the car trip and the 3-hour drive became too much for him. He had a one-hour appointment, which was extremely difficult for him. Grooming him more frequently is something I'm attempting to do. Hair tufts dangling from his mouth after vomiting too many hairballs. Not to mention the amount of fur that needs to be vacuumed up. This brush works wonders when it comes to removing thick undercoat.
Normally, I would wait a while before writing a review, but this is an incredible product, and I thought my border terrier mix needed a trim. Then I used the comb and was astounded by how much hair fell out. The best part was that she didn't try to fight me or flee. She even rolled onto her back for me to comb her stomach! This is a product that I wholeheartedly endorse.
