I've never had a problem with my teeth coming out, or with anything else for that matter. This comb is excellent.
On one end, the pins are further apart, while on the other end, they are closer together. closer to each other It looks like a human hair comb, but it's made of thicker metal. It's great for me, and even better for the dogs.
No, but I really enjoy combing my cat with the comb.
This comb is something I wish I had purchased YEARS AGO. The coat on my black lab mix is THICK, THICK. It looks great on him. You will not be disappointed if you purchase it.

As some combs pointed out, I was afraid of my teeth bending. This one appears to be fine; I was concerned about the plastic on the top, but it has proven to be comfortable to hold thus far. My Newfie prefers it to the rake, mat/deshedder comb, or slicker brush because it is simple to use. I'm getting used to having a dog that needs to be brushed on a regular basis because this is my first Newfie. With the comb, I can more easily remove knots and tangles. With the brushes I have, it appears that I don't have a lot of options. They don't notice the tangles until they grab and pull on them. I'm getting more combing done before he runs away by being a little more detail-oriented and combing small sections at a time. I also like how the hair comes off the comb with ease. So far, it appears to be working.
Instead of brushing my Shih tzu mix, my groomer suggested using a comb. I went out and bought the comb, and it turned out to be exactly what she said- Our new dog's hair mats are no longer an issue thanks to the comb. I liked the comb so much that I bought a second one to keep on my nightstand and one in our living room so I could comb her out while watching TV. She was a shambles and very matted when we first adopted her from an animal shelter 8 months ago. She's no longer prone to mats and doesn't mind a quick combing every night.
br>The comb is sturdy and just the right size for holding without dropping. I start with the big tooth side and then move on to the small tooth side. It does a fantastic job. My shih tzu is one of my pets. Combing him is his absolute favorite thing to do.
For grooming her torso, I like having two sizes in one comb. This large comb should not be used on a dog's head. face. Poking or scratching them in the eye is far too easy. For that, you'll need a small comb with a handle.
This comb is great for picking out matting on a dog because it allows me to get at the strands and separate them, which allows me to break up the knot. It takes time and patience, but it's preferable to chopping out a mat or tearing the dog's skin.
It's for my cat, so I got it. He wears his hair short, which suits him perfectly.
Combs well even through a thick double coat and has a comfortable grip.
It's well-made. It appears that this will go on indefinitely.
