If you catch the matting early enough, you can break it up, but once it has hardened or grown too large, the combs will pull at the skin. If it's too bad, use your fingertips to pull it apart. Instead of pulling away from your pet's skin, pull in a sideways motion to keep the mat's mass stable and break off smaller clumps. When you've separated enough individual hairs from the mat, it should just come away on its own without tugging. Then use this fantastic product to get rid of any remaining tangles and keep mats from re-tangling. showing up You can also use the tip of this comb to isolate a few hairs from the mat while holding it firmly in place.
I have a tiny 5 pound Silky terrier/maltese mix with a touch of Bichon Frisée in her, so her hair is a little wavy but not tightly curled like I think Golden Doodles' hair is. I think it might work for you, but I can't be sure because my dog's hair is so different from yours. Mine gets tiny mats behind her front legs, which are exacerbated by her harness, and this comb gets them out. I hope this information was useful in making your decision. Best of luck!
Although it does not sit, the comb is extremely effective.
That's a rabbit I'm not familiar with. However, if the dog has long hair, such as a Shihtzu, it should be fine.

I have a Maine Coon, and her undercoat is constantly getting mats, so I've been looking for a good brush to keep her mat-free and help with shedding (we have black cat fur tumbleweeds all over the house). All of her mats are out with minimal effort after just one use of the brush, and neither of us are crying. Since I've only used it for a few days, I can't say if it's helped with shedding. The mats and tangles, on the other hand, were a breeze to obtain. Love it! As you can see in the photo, she has a lot of hair, which is gross, but with 5 minutes of brushing, I was able to get rid of it!.
He's grooming himself to the point where he's no longer grooming. As a result, he developed matting in his coat, and I purchased this comb in the hopes of gradually removing the mats. Well, I put it to use, and the mats were quickly and painlessly removed for the cat. I simply grabbed a matted area close to the skin and held it in my hands as I combed through it. Although some of the fur did come out, the matted fur was quickly removed without causing the cat any pain. This is an excellent product. I am overjoyed that I purchased it! If you're undecided about this one, don't be.
We've been trying to keep her hair from tangling and matting because it's mostly poodle. Even though we brush and comb her every night, she mats. We bought this comb almost as a last resort after trying a variety of brushes, combs, and detangling sprays. This comb is far and away the best we've found, and she tolerates it far better than any of the brushes we've tried. This comb is a hit with us.
This comb is one of my favorites. To tell you the truth, It was a gift to myself, so I bought it. I have short-haired cats, but I have long hair, and tangles are a real pain in the winter. It makes no difference what kind of conditioner I'm using. We used to have a long-haired cat, so I bought a detangling comb and discovered it worked wonders on my hair. As a result, I was in desperate need of a replacement! It's not for sale in human combs, which surprised me. I remembered I needed to visit the pet section!.
For me and my Shih Tzu, this is an excellent comb. The handle is extremely comfortable and makes maneuvering a breeze. My little princess wears her hair in a top knot, and we used to struggle every morning to find the right section. It's not going to be simple. However, thanks to the comb's width and double-level teeth, it's a breeze. And my son enjoys the sensation. He enjoys grooming in general, with the exception of his face. He doesn't seem to mind if this comb is used to groom his beard and muzzle. It drastically reduces the amount of time we spend grooming each day.
This was purchased for my fearful little toy poodle, whom I rescued several years ago. She must have had a bad grooming experience before coming to see me, because she fights even when I just comb her hair. This is a fantastic comb. It can easily cut through tangles, and I didn't have to squirm at all. The mat cutter is next on my list; it's already in my Amazon cart, and it's not only a great comb, but it also has a comfortable handle, which is ideal for arthritic hands like mine.
She can also get undercoat without harming her skin. Unlike other pet combs, the tips aren't needle-sharp. For the sake of my cat's comfort, this is a big plus.
So far, I haven't had any luck! This product is ideal for long-haired cats who can quickly become matted if they don't have access to a good comb that can go all the way through the hair. This comb did a fantastic job My cat's fur is now as silky as it was before. silky smoothness! br>This isn't a joke. If you give it a try, you will not be disappointed!.
