This is ideal for our thick-coated dog who has a lot of hair. It's difficult to groom her because she's older and has bad hips. She has a soft (body? )side to her. ) and has always disliked having her fur brushed, but this appears to work well without pulling her hair and is easier to control, especially in areas where her body hurts. I can also get through her coat because of the fine and wide teeth. I'm glad I made the purchase. It works better than the various combs and brushes I've tried in the past; it gets the undercoat without pulling and keeps her well groomed. When she realizes I'm about to brush her, she doesn't run away.

It's also popular with cats. I was combing out the ends of my macrame projects with a 'human' comb: Then I came across this, which I am grateful for. It simply has more tensile strength (and also combs out yarn) and the two sizes of tines on one comb are simply fantastic. I bought two of them: Even when I comb deeply and in the opposite direction of their fur growth, my cats don't seem to mind. They prefer the 'dog' brush I have, which picks up a lot of hair, but this comb gets to their 'undercoat,' which my cats seem to have in the winter. Excellent comb. multi- uses!.

I went on Amazon to look for a home for my long-haired Maine coone cats because I couldn't find the one I currently have and so I was just being cheap and found the cheapest comb on here and for this price I received a high-quality comb with a rubber grip on top that is very easy to hold and the metal teeth appear to be very strong. It does the job perfectly thank you. This is a product that I would strongly recommend.

To help with my older cat's matting, our groomer suggested a wide-toothed comb. Her fur is medium/long, and she isn't doing as well as she used to as she ages. This comb is one of her favorites, and it helps her get rid of knots before they become too difficult to manage. I would suggest it.

Our cat tolerates this comb in small doses, but it isn't quite as good as I had hoped. I didn't get as much cathair out as I had hoped.

I got this comb today and used it to comb my cat, who refuses to be brushed or combed! This comb collects a surprising amount of hair. Excellent product at a reasonable cost!!.
