1) the smallest bags cost at least $10 the middle size bags cost at least $30. That's about it. As well as being cheaper, I wish they were more accessible.
My fear is that unless you have a lot of money you cannot feed a large dog only Stella & Pete Patty that's chewy because it's freeze dried. In addition to eating a $50 bag every two days, my 70-pound dog would eat a $50 bag every two days It would take 3 days for him to consume all the calories and nutrients he needs. To make raw food for your dog, you will likely need to buy quality raw meat, which will likely be a lot more expensive than processed meat. There is nothing my dog loves more than Stella & Co It is tasty food, but I can't give it to him unless as treats, and even then it is by far the most expensive thing we buy even though he eats
The age range might be 15 to 25 As far as the patties are concerned, I'm not concerned. According to the weight, I make my decisions. You can use it regardless of the powdery food at the bottom of the bag. All of Fiona's food is eaten up in one go. Finally, she has gained more than 3 pounds! She now weighs 3 pounds more than she did yesterday. I'm 3 for 3! It's the little things in life, lol. It is a miracle for Fiona and I to be able to eat that food.
When compared to venison, I find the texture of the pork to be very soft. This is a favorite of my girls because I add organic chicken broth to Liquids enhance the texture and flavor, since they enhance the texture and flavor.

Tuesday, February 13 Despite not loving each other, my two dogs do love Stella & Co. I like Chewy's better than all others The two of them love it so much that they no longer As far as my research tells me, they once ate Orijen and Honest Kitchen (high-quality dog foods, as far as I can tell), but now they both turn their noses up to them. Since this is rather expensive for two dogs, I almost wish I hadn't introduced it to them. The following revision date was updated on August 31st, 2018 To keep them healthy, I exclusively fed my dogs Stella & Nikita From 600 a. m. to 1000 a. m. I went to Chewy's There has been no new content since September. The food they eat here is loved by them. I'm talking about really, really in love with it (see my previous review from February). As soon as I bought the first bag from the local pet store, I took it home to give as an occasional treat, but it quickly became the only thing that my animals requested. As the cost was so high, I was the one who had to pay. I was very upset two weeks ago when I discovered one of my dogs had In other words, she was sick to the point of almost dying. I had her treated in a prestigious animal hospital in NYC and several of the specialists on the internal medicine service stated that they were confident that my dog became ill because of the infection from her raw diet, the high fat content in the food, or more than likely a combination of both factors. In my opinion, I had been paying an arm and a leg for what I thought was the best food for my dogs, which was devastating to me. Veterinarians who treat thousands of pets each year who believe in raw feeding told me that since raw food has become more popular, the rate of infections has skyrocketed and many beloved pets have died. As much as I hate to write this review, I believe, Stella & Dot has the potential to be a very successful brand My faith in Chewy's is based on the fact that they create good products and have I would not want to keep this kind of information to myself, as there are so many risks associated with feeding a raw diet to our pets. In addition to paying attention to the high fat content of these patties in comparison to the fat content of many other types of dog foods, if you are not concerned about infection (and yes, this is a risk you take when you buy ANY commercial pet food). You should understand that like humans, dogs who eat recipes high in fat are at risk for things like pancreatitis. As recently as the first of November, I was feeding my dogs Duck Duck Goose formula and, in retrospect, realize the fat content probably wasn't the greatest. The fact that I didn't pay closer attention to this makes me feel like an idiot. The veterinarians assume my dog had a chronic, low level pancreatitis for many months due to high fat diet, and the infection was caused by raw food (this assessment was supported by several expensive tests, but I choose not to bore you with those). As for the rest of this review, I don't really think it's relevant to Stella and Dot All raw pet foods that are high in fat or those with high fat content are included in this statement. My dogs need a lot more exercise than they get from being outdoors. I wish I had known about the negative experiences of other pet owners before me. It is true that millions of pets are eating raw food without any problems, however I am confident that my vet was telling the actual truth when he said they were experiencing an outbreak of sorts as raw food popularity has been rising. There is a good chance that many people who read this will continue to buy raw, but having read my review at least they know to beware. We have returned to feeding our pups Honest Kitchen Base Mix with fresh vegetables from our garden topped with home-made dog treats A lean meat that has been cooked.
However, I find this quite disappointing. Initially, I ordered the Stella and Chewy CHICKEN patties, but I received the BEEF patties in their place. As I was planning to do so, I decided to simply try the beef and see how it goes (if it is OK with my dog). I realized that the patties were different from how I am used to having them when I prepared the meal for my dog. Instead of crumbling, they broke into chunks, felt moist when broken, but did not crumble. Additionally, the inside of the bags was darker where I believe the moisture was retained. The package also had a few expiration dates on it, both of which were dated for about a year ago (see image 1). A facility employee attempted to cover up the 02- date, which was actually the real expiration date In image 3, it is marked with an expiration date of 2007 (see image 2), while in image 2, it has an expiration date of 2017 (see image 3). Unfortunately, that didn't work because the person trying to believably trick the system used a date of 01/2017 which would make it older than In my opinion, this dog food costs far too much to provide me with a product that (first) I did not order and (second) that has been expired for over.
There are many reasons we love these patties, including the ability to break them into smaller pieces and give as much or as little as we like. Our dog loves them so I'm sorry to report yet another case of foreign objects in a patty. As of yet, we have not seen any bones, as some others have found, but we have just discovered what appears to be green plastic embedded in one of the burgers There are a number of quality control issues with this product. It's a great product, so I hope the manufacturer gets over them.
The Duck Duck Goose I purchased through Amazon has sharp bone pieces in nearly every patty. I have purchased the food from my local pet food store for the past two years and it has been fine. These 0 lbs. are for my petite dog (16 lbs) and for me as well. The bone shards measure 0cm in length, which goes to show her throat is very vulnerable. Stella and Ana seem to be in the same boat Apparently, Chewy's is using a new supplier or they changed the equipment they use to grind these bones so that they no longer become finely.
A happy couple who always scarfed their meals. There is a possibility, though, that this last bag has One of my dogs began throwing up food, and both refused to eat it. It took me a lot of trial and error to realize these patties were the reason. My disappointment is so great. The left side of the picture seems to be a Stella & Dot I won't be buying this product again, whether it's due to a Chewy's issue or an Amazon issue.
I have recommended this product if you purchase it in a store, however the product I received crumbled to smithereens upon arrival. There was no form of an patty in the bag, essentially just a bag of "sawdust. ". It seems we'll be adding this to our food as a topper rather than as a treat The product is not durable and does not look like it would hold up well to shipping. I will not purchase this again from Amazon. *Edit
This batch of treats has completely refused to be eaten by our dog, who usually loves them. A few exp. We usually buy these from our local pet store, but this batch has a date of 8/17, which is much less fresh than what we typically find. You get what you pay for when you go to China, but the prices are higher. I learned from this experience.
