The texture is very soft, unlike other freeze dried raw foods, and they can easily crumble in your hands. These are good steps towards going raw, though I hope to go full raw later on. I have purchased this product many times from my local pet store, and the contents of the Amazon package I received this time are distinctly different than any other product I have purchased in-store before.
