The three dogs we have, one cat, and one bird live indoors and outdoors. In April 2011, our family began using this product as part of a flea prevention program. The scent is nice, but it does not seem to be helping with our flea problem, although we have a lot of fleas in my area and none of the previous flea preventatives have worked anymore. It helps keep fleas off, but I had really bad flea issues this year, so I also used the spray that comes with this brand & and it made no difference. My dog loves powder more than sprays as they are less scary. Lastly, there is another natural remedy that kills fleas & ticks You need eggs for your house and for your children You can mutt. When I use the powder and sprays to keep everything from accumulating, I have to give my dog a bath even in the cold weather.
