My suggestion would be to give about 30 minutes for your dog to shake off the smell

Hartz F & & r was the stuff we swore by I had T powder up north in MD and WV, but now I live in the south, I find it to be insufficient. There used to be just one container that would clean the bedding, carpeting, etc. Outside of Panama City, though, the product doesn't last seven hours! It has now been 1 1/2 weeks since the product was used, as well as the Hartz FR and FHD. The next day, everything is back to normal, including shampoo, sprays to kill eggs, and laundry routines. The power will work for a short time, but it is right back to normal the next day. As a result of the dangerous chemicals in these powders, I have had to refrain from applying them to the dogs too often. The last time I'll use a Hartz product probably will be now.
