In addition to this collar, I use monthly Heartworm treatment. It has been a part of my life for many years and I have found Zodiac to be incredibly effective. I recommend it wholeheartedly.
The only time I use it is during the spring and summer when I live in Illinois. If the weather gets below freezing, then it is not necessary to use it.
The collars are fine. I did find that they are less effective than the white collars from Zodiac.
Yes, indeed. You should cut away any excess flea collar that is placed around his neck and discard it. After affixing it, it is advisable to wash your hands.

Our house is very wooded, and I have been trying many different flea and tick repellent products. However, I have been very pleased with the results I have received by using the zodiac brand flea collar. In terms of price too, it's a win-win situation.
Don't expect to put it on your dog and have your flea problems stop but if you don't have them and are just looking to keep them away these are very worth the money I had them on my dogs all summer no problem other than they knock them off every now and then.
Both a short haired dog and a long haired dog were fitting in these collars. In both cases, The first day the procedure went well, but then the flea problem reared its ugly head It slows down the scratching a little, but not enough to stop it. For 7 months, it is expected to last. In order to see if eggs were hatching, I will leave. Eggs are not said to be killed in the statement. We will see what happens in time. It does not appear to function the way it is described on the box right now.
My dogs have been wearing Zodiac flea & tick collars for more than twenty years, but the new blue collar isn't making the same type of impact against ticks as it did before when we did find dead ticks on the dogs after using the collar. In addition, there are live ticks on the dog that were attached to the collar as well as the collar smells awful. If there is a change, I would like to know about it. Where I live, we have a serious tick problem, so I will have to look for another.
This brand has never caused flea or tick problems for me during the years I have been using it. There aren't a lot of large collars available, and they can be costly. The only one that is inexpensive, comfortable, functions as advertised, and does not irritate our Bull dog is Zodiac. Earlier this year, we switched brands because the large size was not available. We regret it, now that we found out that she had an extremely intense reaction under her neck, which caused her to lose hair, experience irritation and thicken her skin while it healed. We are eagerly awaiting the discovery of her size from Zodiac once Your help is much appreciated,.
The program does what it should. I don't see any fleas on my dog 1) The latch is the only thing I have a problem with. There is one adjustment to be made to the collar Two times a week is all that is needed to avoid it going (I do leave a little extra length to accommodate slippage, so it takes longer for it to become undone. ) I have caught my dog without the collar, but luckily the collar does not appear to have been chewed, so I put it back on the This product is a favourite of mine and I will continue to buy it.
Based on what is described, I presume it works as described - Neither my dog nor I kept it on. For other doggie parents, please make sure your pup cannot reach the collar or lick it if he or she licks it. Since my dog is still a puppy and I knew she would grow, I left an inch or two of wiggle room in the collar. She somehow managed to reach the tail left over from the collar, chewed on it, and became very sick. She was throwing up for a couple hours. I took the pillow away from her because I was scared. There is quite a strong scent to it too that I did not like. I am not sure if it would work outside of those cases.
This stuff works well. This stuff makes my dog hate the spot down the back My only effective brand has been this one I've tried others and this one is the best. The other brand collars caused my dog to get ticks on its underside and around its edges.
