The reason I scored this collar the way I did was because I wasn't sure how a flea collar should be "warm" and "thick. ". In the picture above, I used a peppermint to illustrate how thin the collar is around the pup's neck. This razor is amazing in terms of its sheerness, and a straw was used to show how well it blended with dog fur. The scratching of my dogs has diminished since I applied this collar, but I gave them a bath with Dawn dish soap to ensure that if fleas are present they will have a good start if the collars are worn. My favorite aspect of this product is that it is supposed to be natural. I was trying to find something as effective as Seresto (another great product). However, I was in need of something that cost less as I have several dogs and their vaccinations alone cost around $300 every year. Then you have to deal with regular teeth cleaning, and if you have a pet with any health problems, it becomes even worse. Accordingly, I give this product a 5 out of 5. Dogs don't have fleas and smell like mint, so my dog doesn't have fleas. I'm not sure if it works, but I consider it a win since he has no fleas.
I like the more natural approach you use to get rid of ticks and fleas. One of the only dislikes about these collars is you cannot take them off once they have been fitted. As soon as you remove your pet's collar, it is difficult to adjust to the original size he or she had when you made the collar. It is frustrating since the collar doesn't fit my dog the way it should because it doesn't have the necessary adjustability to fit my dog.
There is no evidence that this works. Although I bought 2 collars for my furry friends, they continued to scratch even after treatment. It is very sad to find out this didn't work for my dogs. Despite all that, it's an excellent value. In addition, I believe it caused my dogs to have an allergic reaction. There is no end to the sneezing in my dogs. It appears that the sneezing calmed down a bit after the collar was taken off.
This is something I would like to try since I usually go for all natural remedies. Just today I pulled four MORE tucks off of my dog that have been on him for two days. Earlier this afternoon, there were two. There were about one inch below the collar of the shirt. Trying similar natural remedies has not been fruitful for me. The products of this brand are great and so I was expecting great things from them.
In the past few days, my dog has not gotten itchy since I tried this.
I like it.
