It appears that this collar is effective. It's been about a month since I got it. In Florida, I frequently run with my dog on densely forested trails. Fortunately, I always inspect him for ticks immediately afterward. This time of year seems to attract a lot of ticks, and I've found them on him even though I've been wearing the collar. They can't get under his skin, though. I may miss one sneaking around and not notice it for a few hours, but the tick collar appears to be effective in preventing ticks from latching on to my dog. I don't usually write reviews, but I felt compelled to do so in the hopes of helping others.
After failing to find a chewable, I turned to collars for help. Following consultations with my veterinarian and the local animal shelter, I decided to give Sobaken a try. For my two active goofballs, it's been great so far. The low price was appealing, as was the ability to use the same product on a 25-inch screen. pound, as well as a 90-degree incline. pound canine.
It was a huge plus that the product arrived so quickly. The product is exactly as described, with a citronella-like scent. My dog isn't bothered by the band and is quite large, so if you have a larger breed, there should be enough room to fit around the neck. With the size of two, my BM/GS could have been nearly cut in half. I've only had it on for a few days and haven't noticed any itching or biting, so I'll keep an eye on it in the coming weeks and months. This is my third time using this product, and I think it is excellent value for the money. I have had no problems with it. Fleas and ticks seem to be repelled for about six months. Every 6 months or so, I replace it. I've never gone beyond that time frame, so I can't say how long it could or would last. br>I'm very happy with it and would recommend it to anyone who doesn't want to spend money on monthly meds or deal with cheap chemicals that take days to dry on your dog's fur while potentially spreading all over your house or items.
When I ordered the collar, I had only found a few of them. I immediately put it on when I got it the next day. By that night, the ticks had barely clung on, and I was able to locate and remove them with ease. My dog has had the collar on for about a week and it still smells great and appears to be working, despite the fact that he's gone swimming with it on a couple of times.
My dog has stopped scratching and appears to be more relaxed. She is unconcerned about the collar. It lasted for eight months, which is an advantage. It's unquestionably a wise investment.
We have a tiny Peekapoo (Pekinese/poodle mix) and we've never been able to find a flee collar that fits her properly; the one-size-fits-all adjustability of this collar was ideal. Wrap it around your waist, tuck the end into the buckle, and cut off the excess. It was a novel idea, but it worked perfectly. The collar's ability to kill and prevent fleas appears to be comparable to that of any other collar on the market. I'm happy to add it to my subscription list and save it if it's possible.
Our dog was unable to use this collar. We bathed her as well to get rid of the fleas, and then we combed them out again. In fact, fleas seemed to be attracted to the collar, because we were combing them out the most from the neck area! I decided to buy because I thought the price was reasonable. It was a good lesson. br>br>In addition, the seller contacted me to request that I remove the review in exchange for a refund. I agreed to do so after they provided me with a refund. They then requested that I do it first, which I reluctantly agreed to do, only to be ignored. As a result, the review has returned in its entirety.
PREVENTION OF TICKS AND FLEAS. MY DOG WAS OUT IN THE WOODS ALL DAY AND I HAVE NOT FOUND A TICK OR FLEAS. br>I LIKE THE LITTLE METAL CONTAINER IT COMES IN AND IT CAN BE KEPT IN THERE FOR UP TO 8 MONTHS FOR USE AGAIN.
