My first response to the collar was that it smelled a bit. However, after a while, the smell disappeared. Therefore, I have noticed that it is working on my dog, as I have not noticed any fleas on him. A dog reacts differently to things depending on what it is given. The collar is good overall, though I'm not completely happy.
There is nothing artificial about it, so I don't see why there would be a problem.

Natural is an important factor for me when choosing a product. As soon as I opened it, the scent of citronella surrounded me. Yesterday, we took our dog on a hike through the woods where we usually lock up ticks, but she did not get any ticks. As of yet, I have been pleasantly surprised. I will update if anything changes.
The collars were delivered to me Both a large and a small one are included. There is a pleasant smell to it! The natural ingredients are one of the reasons I chose this collar. In addition to a flea comb, the item came with information on preventing fleas and an ingredient list. It has been a good start! Hopefully, nothing will change, but I'll check back in.
A product that lasts for 12 months and that includes two, one for your cat and one for your dog, is an excellent value, and if it works, I'll tell everyone about it and be getting more for myself and my pets. I'll see what I can do.
The two sizes come in a pack of two. We currently have a 4 month old puppy with the smaller one. I didn't see any fleas this morning after the fleas were gone within an hour. Likewise, we got the bigger one as an indoor/outdoor dog. Even though I didn't need to use it, I could have used the flea comb that came with it. I was scared at first to unwind the spiral that the collar was attached in, but I did and it works fine. The collar was easy to put on and hard to pull apart. The smell of the product isn't strong at all, and it does not remain on hands after handling the product. Neither of my dogs is trying to get off the clothes, and it didn't irritate them. It is worrying that my dogs will get in the creek daily, and that all of them will like water, but but my outdoor dog, who gets by himself in the creek, will get in the creek more than once In the article it states that it wears out faster after it has been Therefore, I will re-write my review once I have observed how long it takes fleas to die.
This product has previously been used by me and I have enjoyed The reason I am returning to it this year is that I enjoyed it last Sometimes it has worked, sometimes it hasn't. There have been some animals that have responded well, but there have not been The collar didn't seem to keep fleas away from the cats that wear it. However, it didn't repel fleas from the dog that wears it either. The collars also don't stay on as well as they once did. As a result, the little port where the excess collar can be tucked in has broken and there is no way to secure the extra collar other than by zip tying it.
In fact, there are two collars, one for the dog and one for the cat. It seems to be working great for my very small dog, so I am using the cat collar size for him. As far as I know, he has not developed any rashes from the collar like we heard about from other collars.
I just purchased this product in hopes that it will help me control fleas without the use of A flea comb was included in the tin and everything is packaged in a pretty tin. It works well to use combs. Seeing as I do not own a cat, I tried the cat one on my dog, and it just fit my thin (27lb) mini Aussie/Chihuahua This citronella is not unpleasant, my dog does not mind it, and there are no toxic ingredients in this product. Where does the problem lie? Neither the fleas nor their hosts seem to mind it. One day after I put the collar on, I found a flea within a few inches of it. Despite the fact that I have discovered multiple fleas on him since he's been wearing it and that he had a thorough bath that should have eliminated any that were already on him, I have no confidence that it is going to keep them off or drive them away.
In my experience, the collar is very effective during the initial 2 weeks, and then as the oils come off the collar, the fleas come back, not in big numbers but at a slow and increasing rate as time goes on. It is important to remember that our dog is an inside dog and walks for 10 minutes each time he gets out At the 3 week mark, for him to find 15 fleas on his body after half an hour, an hour, and a quarter of outside time is frustrating. As far as I can tell, I got my money's worth, but it isn't going to protect your dog for ten months as claimed.
