My family and I use all of the Adams flea and tick products. They are effective and do their job However, the collar is not worth anything. Even with the collar on, it seems like the fleas get back on the dogs after the drops go down their backs and the shampoo wears off. Nothing but a waste of time. It is the second time I bought the collar and it is not doing anything as well. I thought the first one was just a fluke but nope, both collars do nothing. I suggest you save your money with this one and use Adams Flea & Tick instead Products that are ticked are the ones that * When acquiring the other Adams fly and tick control products, make sure to take them along with you Get Adams Plus tick products because they kill flea eggs and larvae, otherwise the fleas will come back because fleas have a cycle (youll have to look up the cycle part of fleas) so make sure you get the product that says Plus, this will kill it. One of my dogs is a pit bull, and the other is There's really no way for me to tell whether or not it's working because both of them scratch a lot. Would I be able to control the flies if something could be found to do so. There are plenty of flies around my pitbull outside, all over his food and they tend to make their way inside, which I find to be annoying. Whenever I pick up my ShiTzu, it scratches so badly and so much it can be very irritable. Two days a week, I spray the carpet and baseboards, and every other day, I vacuum. It is true that I do use a dish of detergent next to a light on the floor to see how many fleas have been killed. Despite my concerns, I will not rule out the collars completely. I just need something with more strength.
We did not have any fleas to begin with. I noticed that the dogs became miserable within days of There is no need to bother with flea collars. Small dogs may not benefit from these as they have less skin to cover. My pointers and retrievers did not benefit from them, so it's not just a matter of short or.
Although I was skeptical of the bad reviews, the situation turned out to be worse than I had expected. In order to save some money, I did not purchase a Seresto collar for my dog, but this collar did absolutely nothing for him. When I bathed my dog after I had it on her, she still had fleas on her. A week later, I used a good tick/flea shampoo, but she was covered in them. After upgrading to the more expensive collar, I did the same thing, and she has no fleas anymore. This is not a good buy- There is nothing special about it other than it looks like a.
There was an odd behavior in that dogs seemed to scratch more near the flea collar, as if the collar attracted their salivate. During the first month I would still remove the fleas from around both of my dogs' bellies, but the fur was matted and I couldn't see them at all around their collars. *I have attached a picture, but you will only see my trash can where the collars are. I was very excited to use Adam's flea spray around the house on several occasions and it worked very well.
It was working for about two months, but then as the weather warmed, neither collar was as effective. Those days are over. It was a miserable day for my dogs due to fleas. My initial impulse was to buy more after I thought the smell had gone away. Nothing new happened when the 2 new ones were replaced. Is it because the temperatures have gone up over the summer, the fleas have indeed come out, and the collar no longer works? There is no answer for me. However, I am not going to try them again.
I put this collar on my dog one day ago, and I noticed my dog was panting and pacing the floor so I took her to the vet. It lasted for two days, and then she began to cry In the hospital, the staff said it was a reaction to the tick collar since nothing else had changed, and it was possible. The oils came off her coat after I washed it with dawn detergent to remove the oils, and I had to wait for her to recover, which she did.
I guess you have to pay significant amounts to get effective flea control.
