In short, yes. I find it easier to do with small dogs than with those with long snouts. Since starting my "in home" doggie daycare/ 5 star B&B the past few years, I have watched 100's of dogs We found that it didn't work for really really smart dogs who would pick up the entire bowls and dump the food anywhere! Yet, even then, it was still a matter of hunting it down and eating Rather than speed them up, it actually slowed them down! Thank you for your help.
On the bowl, it did not specify that it was made in China, but I would guess so based on its appearance. Having this bowl is great, and I've used it quite a bit. Ideally, I like to give my dog two cups twice a day, and this is the perfect size to hold one cup at a time.
This is not an easy thing to do, I There is a thick layer of plastic on it. The one I have is not broken after I have dropped it more than once.

Then read on! Inhaling his food was a favorite habit of my large black lab. He would scoop the food into his mouth and swallow it whole. I have seen a dramatic improvement after consuming this dish. It took him a while to eat and he finally gave up on the last piece (he never refuses food!). First, he hated it, took him a long time to eat, and he gave up on the last few pieces. Eventually, he began to feel more comfortable with it after a few feedings. I am not sure what to do about his inability to chew his food despite the bowl that does what it is supposed to do.
The first thing I learned was that the goal of this program was not
Our dogs are free fed, so we have never had a problem with them gulping food or having We regret to report that our youngest dog has yet another bad The practice of picking up a mouthful of food, carrying it away, and dumped it elsewhere (for example, on the floor, the couch, the yard, etc. ). Occasionally wandering back to it at a later date and time, it is left abandoned for some time, then nibbled on. This is a behavior we are eager to see stop, as you might guess. In light of the foregoing, we decided this type of bowl may assist in solving, or at least in mitigating, The Doberman we have is a very large dog. We underestimated him. People who have had Dobermans are aware that they solve problems better than the average dog, which is why we shouldn't have been surprised that our girl had already figured out a way around about 10 minutes after the bowl was filled. It basically meant that instead of having to eat only a few pieces of kibble out of the bowl at a time, she was able to get as much as she wanted off the floor, so she just flipped over the bowl. The bowl has been stuck since then and we can't figure out how to make it disappear A flippable document. In reality, this bowl will do what it is designed to do, except if your dog is a super mischievous individual who will see every obstacle as a challenge to There's a good chance you'll just end up picking up lots of kibble from the ground in that case.
Although it is ineffective, this product does the job and my dog eats a lot slower with it. I wish they would take the word "fun" out of the names of these products as it looks more like torture for a dog trying to eat.
This bowl is a great buy. It does what it says it will. Unfortunately, the packaging of the bowl was terrible and it arrived The pros include I. - Bowls with heavy weights are always good-- Is capable of completing its task* - This container is large enough to hold a decent amount of food
Thanks to each wall and stop, I was able to clean easier than I would have expected. The cons are I. - A plastic bag was thrown in with my bowl, and fortunately I got a cracked bowl because of that. There's nothing terribly wrong with it but it's right on the edge. I. - I no longer have any use for it, since it came cracked. The plastic used on it, while heavy feels like it is very hard. I. - These "grip" feet are so tiny, they're horrible. On the perimeter of the bowl there are eight or so of them, but their three centers are far from the edge. A width and length of 5mm and 1cm means there is not enough surface contact to make the plate adhere. What are my overall thoughts on the product? The black one fits about 2 cups of food, maybe 2 cups of food, so it definitely works for a large dog portion. The slow feeder is supposed to handle up to 5 cups, but as you go, the higher the peaks of the retardent become and as such defeats the purpose of it if the walls are completely In order to repair this one, I will purchase a new one and use a 3D Pen. I should note The picture shows it attached to a step stool so it can be raised for my dog so that he can stand up on it comfortably. In this case, the "grip" feet showed their weaknesses and inefficiency.
It's great to see these bowls from Jasgood. I have noticed that my dogs have stopped puking and have slowed down their eating. They are easy to clean in my dishwasher and of good quality. There is only one drawback to them, and that is the rubber feet which are glued or inserted in the bottom so that it does not move Once we used the rubber feet for the first time, I lifted the bin back up off the floor, and one of them remained. When I first saw it, I was thankful that I grabbed it right away, as my dog may have eaten it if it had been lying The rubber feet that fell out are not yet glued because I am searching for a rubber/plastic glue that will endure dishwasher cleaning, but instead I keep watching to see if the other two will fall out, too. design and function of the bowl are both great, but during the first two weeks of use, four of the six rubber feet have fallen out. The following update has been made after six We purchased two more of these as we continue to love them. I would never use the first green bowl on hardwood flooring since it will slide, so we only use it on the rug. The second green bowl and both blue bowls did not have any problems with their rubber feet, so the first green bowl must have been defective. However, the bowls are still a great product and have performed very well and held up well- Since a few months ago, we have been washing our dishwasher shelf at least twice a week.
I am very pleased with the product Even though our dog takes longer to eat his food these days (that is good), it's still amazing. Rather than swallowing it whole, I believe he chewed some of it rather than swallowing it whole.
She thinks she will starve if I don't give her this bowl. She's an 11 year old Boxer who is always all excited for dinner! Food is no longer inhaled in 30 seconds for her, she has now started to eat normally. This bowl is great for dogs ages 6 months and up. She suffers from bad diarrhea after eating, but not as bad, nor does she get the burps as bad as she did when she ate very quickly. I highly recommend this bowl to anyone with puppies or.
Upon reading the reviews, I decided to try it out. It worked. My old Rottweiler cannot consume It used to happen that she would barf if she ate too fast. As she was trying to bite into the bowl, the bowl would get collected in her mouth - surprising she didn't It has definitely been helpful. When the dog leaves food behind, it's easy to clean it up by soaking it or sprinkling it off with water. There should be a little weight or suction to the bottom to keep the bottom in place, to prevent the dog from picking up or to prevent slipping.
