I only allow my elderly dog to do two things including eat and walk. He looks and behaves like a bored person the rest of the day. Due to his disinterest in playing fetch or frisbee or tug of war, I had to find another way to keep him occupied. It's perfect for our lifestyle to use these lick pads. I had to wait 20 minutes for my dog to wash the mat. Compared to the five minutes he needs to wolf down meals from his bowl, that is much better. that the mat is made of silicone so that it can be place in the dishwasher. It's a nice touch to include the spoon. Even without suction cups, they don't slide around that much. Our experience with it has more to do with my review of ZIG than its actual product. I couldn't get it to grip my hardwood floor and it slid all over it. Food bits get stuck in every corner of the mats and it's very difficult to clean them by hand due to the fact that they're so hard to clean. She didn't seem that interested in it, even though I got it for my anxious dog. It took her no time at all to get into the nooks and crannies, just licking the top off. When I froze the next mat with some peanut butter and pumpkin, my dog just picked it up and dropped it on the floor so all the "ice cubes" fell out so she got to eat it for a week and then she died. Then this is not the thing for you if you have a dog that is intelligent.

Because my dog doesn't like the comforting matt style and because he is old, he can't chew the bones, I bought these treats. The broth is made from frozen, and we put honey and peanut butter on it. The big dog wears these out quickly, so we like to have a few, and these are priced very well. They're also about the same price as the ones that are one at the same price.
