This has been outside for two days now, and the wind has been very strong. My bell is located at the bottom of the door and the wind has not rung it. It was exactly what I had hoped for.
There are no mini pigs in my house, but I do have a small dog. It would be in my opinion a very cool thing if you could train your little pet to use it. Chihuahuas won't use it (I have chihuahuas who do not like As an alternative to drilling holes into your steel door, if you decide to get this device and plan to use it with steel doors, you might like to consider using a few small strong magnets first. There are times when it moves a little, but most of the time, it stays put.
You're probably most likely to have the best results on wood and drywall. Attached it to my door, but I didn't affix it to it. As I mentioned, I did this next to my framing of my door.

My first reaction to this was to think it would never It was at my dogs level, so I rang the bell with his paw and then let him go outside, then let him out a million and one times. It was a few bucks down the drain, and I walked away thinking it was okay. I heard the bell ring as soon as I reached another area of the house. He was waiting for me at the door when I walked fast to it. He was able to leave so I did so. After this, he rang the bell about 50 times during the rest of the day. It's like every time he's let out of the house. Probably 10 times over the next few days he rang the bell. The moment I opened the door and let him out he was gone. all there is to Unlike before, he now only calls when he has a genuine need to leave. There is no place like this on earth.
As my 5 month old cocker spaniel/mini poodle pup sits quietly by the door rather than asking to go out, I ordered this to encourage her to communicate. Her usual easy going nature continues, but she is still resistant to touching the bell 3 weeks after I bought She seems to dislike the noise, so I wonder if that bothers It will take time for her to master the training, but I will continue to train her until she understands. In addition, I noticed that the bell did not come with screws, but otherwise is quite good quality for the price. The bell was delivered quickly to New Zealand, as well. *additional information*additional information It has taken the pup a few weeks to realize what has happened. If she wants to go outside to visit the bathroom, she rings the bell loudly and insistently. For a drink as well. To chase the birds and to chase the wind. In addition, she needs to get that item she left behind. To let me know that the big dog wants to be let inside. Next to the door is the ice maker where she wants to get an ice cube. Do you want something to eat? So now we need to tell mum that I want food. When the sliding door to the back of the house slams behind her, she rings the farking bell to let her out. Located 3 metres away, it is a three-metre long tube There are no restrictions on it. In that case, I suggest the following The effect is very good, but the benefits are mixed! Please see  " He took our dachshund a couple of weeks to learn how to do this, but he is now able to do it. At the time of purchase, he had already turned 2 years old. I found out that the easiest way to get him to do this was to hold my hand behind the bell as if there was a treat waiting for him. After he had rung it a few times, I then showed him the treat I had placed outside the glass door and had him ring it so he could go grab it. I have included a video of our pup ringing the door Since moving and getting a doggy door, this bell is no longer needed, but it was very handy for us!.
Please see  " As a five-month-old miniature dachshund, Whiskey (at the time of purchase about five months old), we chose to purchase this bell for her to communicate when she needs to go outside. When we first got her, she was house-trained on paper. With the papers being kept on her balcony, she can keep them in a safe place now that we're in our new place. Whiskey learned quickly that going outside to potty was required, but if no one was there to let her out, she wouldn't wait for us to open the door for her. There was a lot of damage occurring right in front of the balcony door, and it was driving us nuts. - We knew that if we could teach Whiskey to communicate that she needs out, our dilemma would be solved. As was reported by others, Whiskey was reluctant to use the bell the first few days. It took a lot of patience and a lot more time than others have reported (dachshunds are smart, but not always cooperative). She did learn to ring the bell quickly once we taught her to do it like any other trick. We ensured that she rang the bell before she was let out every time she rang the bell. We are about a month after Whiskey first used the bell and its use is still successful. It doesn't matter where we are in the apartment -- when the bell rings, we all hear In the past few years, there have been essentially no accidents inside. I thank GoGo Bell for your support!.
The bell we have is the best one I am house training a 6 month old puppy that is new to me. The tell bell worked well for us, but our dog sat on the floor and played with it so we had to help her to ring it. She would also carry it around in her mouth. Again, we tried the door bells that hang on a ribbon from the door knob but the child played with them, tugged at them, and ultimately scratched the door as a result. In addition, it would jingle every time we used the door, which was confusing to us all. Our dog is able to correctly ring the GoGo bell with ease due to its perfect size, ease of installation, and ease of To ensure that it only rings when the door is deliberately touched, it is installed just to the right of the door. Purchased a second GoGoBell to use for a second location because it is so effective! This is a highly recommended book.
At first I was skeptical of the videos. The dogs on them seemed to be trained actors or circus dogs. We just received a new German Shorthair puppy and I didn't want him jumping on the back door to get in and out. I've had dogs my entire life, but this was the first time I had seen one ring a bell to go outside. It seemed like a good idea, so I decided to go for it. Well-packed and promptly delivered, the bell arrived in perfect condition. There were instructions on how to introduce your dog to home environment and As we went outside, I grabbed his paw and swatted the bell every time we went outside with my pup. The bell's sound was easily heard over the blaring sounds in my house despite not being obnoxious. I don't feel like starting a Dora marathon in the living room, nor am I inclined to join my wife in a duels with Kathy Lee & Co. I'm sure I could drown out this might bell by playing Hoda over surround sound in my bedroom (oh yeah, I do know just why I bought the Bose). In Hemingway's novel, the bell tolled to remind Hemingway that it was time to go potty, when he saw a butterfly in the back, or when his mom found her shoes, he pounded the alarm and alerted me. In the beginning, he was cute, but as he got older and bigger, he was really beating We gave it a last clobber six months after we bought it. Now 8 months old, our GSP I have attached a picture (see below). Neither I nor anyone else seems to know how to prevent this. Due to the fact that it didn't last a year, it was rated 3 stars. While the bell worked properly, he snapped it off before it would hold up to its promise. I would love to have one of these if it were more durable!.
