The measurement of the product is the length of the entire product from the handle to the end of the clip.

This device is used to train your dog to stay by your side if his long leash fails to because it pulls. Do you need a service dog with this?

The dog would be more suited to training purposes, but I can see why it could be used on a service dog as well.

It is not listed on Amazon as a 18" leash. Would anyone be able to point me in the right direction? Thanks a lot! ?

I am in the process of restocking the 18" and it should be ready within a couple

We are thrilled
5/5

My experiences as a former trainer and handler have provided me with many insights into the world of K9 products over the past In spite of the fact that I have a treasure trove of items to choose from, I decided to buy a new leash that would provide me with control and comfort through its length and I needed a leash that I could attach to the raised handle of my dog's service vest, and this suits that purpose perfectly. The attachment is left attached to make use as simple and quick as possible. If I tuck it under the raised handle and let it dangle, it'll look fine. The bag is so light that it does not bother my [in training] service dog at all. As a result, many handlers find it comfortable to hold, and does not fatigue their hands (which is especially important if they have a physical disability). Unlike some other brands, the Nylon is softer to the touch (and stronger) and does not feel like it has been sanded down. It has just the right amount of padding to provide comfort. The stitching does not show a stiff edge or ridge. In addition to this, it shows that the company is using high-quality materials and has thoughtfully constructed the building. The leash I use with it along with their 3X leash (another item I absolutely LOVE and cannot live without now) is the best leash I've ever used. service dog (in training) is a 10 month old English Cream Golden Retriever (75 pounds at the moment). No matter how strong she is, the leash (or leashes) can handle it without flinching. The chewing and twisting trend has been reviewed in some reviews. The responsibility that I feel as a trainer and handle is to provide feedback, but only to assist. There is nothing wrong with the dogs or the products if they chew. Chewing is the responsibility of the handler the dog has to be taught what is acceptable. Despite how people perceive it, this lesson is much more important than people think. Pure and simple, it is to ensure the safety of the dogs. You do not want your dog chewing on anything that might be poisoned, or picking up needles, condoms, plastic, etc. Dogs walking on the street, in parks (even good, clean dog parks), can pick up used needles with their curiosity. There is a crime in every neighborhood whether you live there or visit there. You would not want your dog to chew on electrical wiring or to chew on cabinet doors, shoes or other things in your home. All of this is potentially dangerous and A simple training program will resolve this issue. As for chewing on a leash, that is something you can learn from the trainer. You cannot control the dog if it chews on the leash to sever your influence. Dogs do not regard you as the pack leader when they are showing this response to you. That's why we need to train again. There is an easy way to stop these behaviors it just takes a little bit of time coupled with commitment to change a few habits, and you will be able to enjoy and trust your companion once again without stress or frustration. It is not legitimate when someone gives a low rating because he or she chews. It is not the product that needs to be trained or handled, but how the dog is trained and handled. Again, simple as it may seem, observe what your dog is doing when he twists. Dogs playing aimlessly (without direction) are most commonly to blame for this. There's no fair way to treat the dog here. The need for structure even in playing cannot be overstated. This allows them to feel secure, and therefore to be comfortable and confident. Play should be a guiding force for them. Engage them. Whatever product you use, there is bound to be some twisting, but knotting and twisting in such a way that it borders upon itself is the result of the owner's actions. In that case, the review is not legitimate. *I am sorry if I came across harshly (as I read back over this), but my current schedule does not allow for a passive approach, nor is this an actual training lesson, it is just an opinion declaring that it is time to confront the issue. For what it's worth, I would greatly appreciate the opportunity to purchase from this business and am extremely pleased, if not thrilled, that I discovered this product.

One of the best leads I have ever bought
5/5

Here is a lead you should buy! The breed of my dog is a pit bull/rott mix of 85 pounds. Despite his size, he is incredibly strong and high in prey drive. He has also been raised going to the dog park three to four times a week. The number of times per week is five. I no longer have the time to get him to the parks due to my busy schedule. Walking each day is good for him, so we do it every day. Trying to keep control of him when he saw other dogs when we were walking was difficult on a regular long lead. My life was basically dragged away from me by him. This lead was one of the best investments I have made for the enjoyment of our walking sessions. I don't stick my hands with the padded handle like with his old lead because it doesn't cut off circulation to my hand. I have complete control, and he is much better behaved while we are walking thanks to this lead. This has made it so that he is no longer able to drag me or even walk in front of me, which is key to Any dog owner who is looking for a more comfortable walk with a large breed dog will find this lead to be invaluable.

You can walk better when you have a good leash
5/5

As a matter of fact, I used this handle to replace a padded handle on a dual leash I made to walk shelter dogs at a local shelter, where we are required to use two leashes simply Working with difficult dogs that tend to pull a lot is all I do. By following a triangle quick link, I was able to connect the handle to my leash without removing the clasp. The padded handle on this weedeater is far superior to the one I had before. In addition to working with larger dogs that can really pull, I also handle quite a few smaller dogs. The padding of this handle is made of neoprene and feels better than the other one, so it is extremely comfortable. In addition, there is plenty of room in the handle to accommodate larger hands and is suitable for use br>I am very pleased with this padded handle and strongly recommend it to anyone. I would like to highlight the fact that Leashboss shipped it right away and kept me informed the entire time it was being shipped. Thanks for being so responsive!.

A lease like this is the best thing I have ever bought
5/5

I will be buying more for my other dogs as well. With this leash, I purchased the vest that I purchased for my service dog, who is about 130 pounds of rottweiler and Tibetan mastiff mix, who is 9 months old. My dog loves this leash because it is easy to hold for a long time and also because it is the perfect length for him. I have a service dog who assists me with PTSD and I take her everywhere I go, from the grocery store to restaurants, and this leash makes it easy for me to keep her close at hand at all times and it keeps her from wandering far away from me. With it you are able to give her direction by gently tugging the chain in the direction we need to go, and the length of the chain works well since she can sense the command immediately without having to deal with all of the excess chain you would have with a normal chain. For a long time, I had to wrap a normal leash several times through the loops on her vest to keep it short enough so she could stay close, but that made the vest bulky on the back and it was also hard for her to feel my commands when I gave them. This lease would be worth the money for anyone who has a service dog or is training an animal to stay close to them. I recommend it because it is made of high quality materials, and the stitching is excellent, so it is likely to last a long time and to be able to hold up to a very large In contrast to the typical leash which feels like it is cutting into the hand as you hold it, this lease is extremely comfortable to hold because its padded handle is soft and not stiff.

This is beyond When my dog is not on a lead, this is so comfortable to hold yet short enough that he can carry it on his own
5/5

The best of both worlds! His 80 pounds make him tall and nosey, and he looks like a mix between a shepherd and a hound. While training at busy intersections or in other questionable scenarios, I needed a lead I could grab easily. It is probably not suitable for short dogs who bolt a lot. When I want it to be a full leash, I just attach a choke chain to it. It is fantastic that the company sends you an email before you even receive this, so you are reminded about the young dog's habits before you even open it. It was awesome! My wife and I both loved it 2) I paid full price for my review, no discounts applied.
