As far as looks and quality are concerned, the leash is of a good quality. I was surprised to find that it was narrower in width and much thinner in material thickness than I expected for what the manufacturer labels as heavy duty. When I saw it, I knew it wouldn't survive even if I teethed on it with my 45lb, 2-year-old bully mix. I was out and about at my local gathering spot conversing with friends when she got the leash in her mouth and within 15 minutes, it had gone in her mouth and was snarling. In 30 seconds, the leash was chewed through almost to the end. We're working on training her to stop chewing on things, not some crazy piranha on the leash. She's a new rescue like us with a habit we're trying to break biting If the seller had not stated that the product was 'heavy duty', 'very sturdy' and for 'Training dogs who like to chew', I wouldn't have much of a problem. While I understand that a nylon leash will not hold up against a toothy dog, don't make it sound more desirable than it is.

There was a seller who had two leashes that I bought There was a reflective leash and not. I loved the reflective leash, but when I looked at it I felt it was almost too perfect to be true. The more reviews I read, the more I noticed that this has also been a problem for others. I have had no problems with the clasp on the leash that is NOT reflective (used for my other dog). As far as we are concerned, this is the strongest leash we have ever used. This is a dog collar my boyfriend uses for his German Shepherd, who is probably the most rambunctious German Shepherd I have He's chewed through every collar and leash that he's ever worn. The small reflectors that are sewn in are definitely handy, I recommend you choose a lighter color, especially if you walk at night nightControls my 150 pound great Danes no problem at all. Please keep in mind there is a small hole on each side. It has a new soft print in the handle if you yank too hard you'll bump your wrists just keep that in mind Overall I definitely recommend them as far as chew prevention that does not exist unless you have a chain leash I'd buy them again.
