Two different harnesses were given to both of us. The one he got is well-made; it keeps its shape well, the handle appears to be well-made, and the d-ring is well-made. Rings are metal (top of photo)br>br>The one I got for my dog is very thin and crinkles like a plastic bag (bottom of photo). The leash attachment points are made of plastic, and it does not hold its shape well. Because my dog is a strong puller, I don't trust the plastic to keep him safe. Overall, the harness I received appears to be of poor quality, and it falls short of OneTigris' other offerings.
Every day, we walk at least 8 miles. The harnesses are excellent quality and haven't shown any signs of wear after nearly a year of use. Bikejoring requires the dog to pull you, and our pups love to run very fast, so they pull hard. Furthermore, they appear to be breathable for the dogs, which is critical in our tropical South Florida climate. We chose these over traditional harnesses because the molle attachments allowed our dogs to carry their own gear. as well as the fact that they appeared to be suitable for bikejoring We also purchased patches, which enhance the appearance of the harnesses while also allowing us to personalize them for each dog. After purchasing a OneTigris collar for our first rescue dog, we went on to purchase collars, harnesses, and bungee leashes for all three of our rescue dogs. One of the dogs is a Catahoula, which weighs 80 pounds. Catahoulas are similar to Dobermans in that they have large chests but smaller heads. For him, we went with the medium ranger green. This size was perfect, but due to the thicker straps, we ended up ordering a large. The other puppy is a 100-pound Alaskan Malamute mix with a balanced chest-to-overall size ratio. For him, we bought a large grey vest. He could technically fit into the medium, but due to his length, we went with the large. They have plenty of room to grow and fill out since we purchased these harnesses, and the medium appeared to be too short. Due to his filling out, our 100-pound Mastiff mix has had to be re-adjusted a few times. If you want quality, utility, and a great aesthetic, this is the place to go. Choose from a variety of OneTigris products, including this harness. You will not be sorry.
One Tigris has created a fantastic product! The fit is excellent (after a few minor adjustments), shipping was quick, and the vest was exactly as described. The only change I'd make is to add some sort of device to control and tuck loose straps away. I avoid cutting the excess in case I need to make another adjustment. Overall, it's a fantastic product that I enthusiastically endorse.
To begin with, I was a big fan of this harness. The mole pouches I purchased for it fit perfectly, and it kept my large dog from pulling. He had the impression that he was employed. My puppy is now a 7-month-old German shepherd with a weight of around 90 pounds, but he's all long and gangly. This harness made him look like he was wearing a bikini, which was not my intention. I was hoping for more coverage of my entire body. Oh well. Regardless, the adjusting straps became loose after a few months of use. I had to re-order it when I first received it. I had to tighten the straps every time I put it on, which should have been a warning sign, but I figured it wasn't a big deal. Until we went camping for a week and the adjustment straps completely dislodged themselves. The harness was no longer attached. Thankfully, my son has little desire to be anywhere other than by my side, or he might have been hit by a car or abducted by the woods. This happened several times, and no amount of looping the excess straps back through the buckles helped. The harness will no longer stay adjusted, and if he bends over, the straps will slide all the way out, causing the whole thing to fall off. There are no pouches or weights attached to this. br>I was very disappointed because I had heard so many great things about this harness, but none of them were true for me.
