Finally! I found a harness that is light, breathable, simple to put on, and perfectly fits. She can't just back up and wiggle out because there's no rubbing from rough material. Even children can use the snaps because they are large and simple to operate. It has easy-to-adjust straps and fits snugly under her front legs without digging in. When we take her for a walk, her leash no longer gets tangled underneath her and around her legs, which is a fantastic feature. This harness looks like it'll be ideal for a summer at the lake.
Midgy is a 9-year-old, 4-pound Chihuahua, and most xs are too small for her. This, on the other hand, could be easily adjusted to fit her.
This isn't a no-pull harness, just to be clear. The lack of a front hookup is what distinguishes a "no-pull" harness. " I know, I should have been more cautious when shopping at 1 a. m. , but instead I listened to some of the reviewers on here who have no idea what they're talking about. Lesson? Don't make the same mistakes that I did. br>br>With the back hook, you might be able to use this with a smaller dog or one that has already been trained. However, you do not want this for larger dogs that pull or have not been trained. br>br>The outside mesh is also not very durable. If it catches on something, it'll rip or, worse, get your dog tangled in a bush. Then let it all hang out. As a result, a hiking harness is not an option.
I have a chubby girl who is difficult to fit, and I've tried a few different harnesses. This was the last piece of the puzzle that I was looking for. I found the right size by measuring her neck and girth; the harness is made of a soft material that molds to her curves, and the straps and clips are sturdy. When we're in the car, it's comfortable enough to leave on her. I chose the fuschia color, which is lovely.
She won't be able to get out of it, so she'll be safe.
Excellent craftsmanship. Simple to put on and take off. It was purchased for my baby when she was three months old and has since grown with her. Excellent for teaching dogs to walk on a leash without choking. For my older dog, I ordered a second.
This is the second one I bought because the first one was too small for her. Outstanding craftsmanship!.
