As stated in the directions, you must first measure your dog's chest (girth) around and just behind the front legs. br>br>I like how soft and padded it is. His previous harness was a webbed nylon with adjustable buckles that had become too small as his coat grew in. He's a big fan of this harness. Since the beginning, he's felt at ease in it. br>br>Apart from his fur, it's very simple to put on. It has Velcro across the top of his back, a snap buckle, and D rings for the leash over that. Is there anything more straightforward? br>br>In addition to the padding, I like how wide it is. This, I believe, reduces stress on any one part of his body and relieves pressure on his throat. You may be aware that some small dogs suffer from a collapsing trachea - a condition in which the trachea collapses. Because the trachea rings are easily collapsing, the dog coughs and has trouble breathing. Because it doesn't sit right against his throat, I believe this harness will help. The harness sits slightly lower and there is a gap, but it is secure. Despite the fact that our dog spends the majority of his time in a fenced-in yard, I've taken him for walks with this harness and it's been great, even when he's a little stubborn and wants to go in a different direction. My 4-pound chihuahua has a hard time getting her front paw through the leg hole and into the neck collar. I took her chest measurement and followed the instructions, but the suggested size was too large. Everything is fine now that I ordered a smaller size!.

This is my second harness from this seller; it's super comfortable, cute, and secure, and I love it; we gave the first one to another dog (my father's) and used another one for a few days, but there's nothing else like it, so I had to get another one; my dog is 6 pounds and is a small Yorkie; we got the xs and it fits perfect, not too tight but not too loose; my dog is 6 pounds and is a small Yorkie;.

I liked this harness so much that I purchased a second one for my larger Chihuahua. I don't let them wear collars because of the risk of trachea/airway problems with this breed. On their harnesses, I keep their rabies vaccinations and town registration tags. This one is great because it takes up very little room on the dog's back, allowing them to wear it all day until bedtime, ensuring that they are always ready to go out. I believe the difference in size between this step in harness (plain red) and the more traditional one (red with white polka dots) can be seen. It was delivered quickly, and I believe I paid a reasonable price.

When I first brought him home, I bought a velro adjustable harness from PetCo, but because the extra velcro was under his belly and would get stuck on rugs, his bed, and other surfaces, it's no longer useful now that he's grown. This one is a LOT better and a lot less expensive. br>br>On the top, there are two metal rings: Why is this so? It would be nice if there was a front loop for leash training. The material is soft and cushiony, with a cute bone design embossed on it. The blue is a lovely, bright color that I got. I've taken my puppy on several long walks with it and haven't had any problems.

These are fantastic. I purchased two, one of which was previously owned by someone else. for a 15" chest, small For a 21-year-old, 1 medium. They have a 5" chest and are simple to put on the dogs. fit well. Very relaxing. They have no effect on the dogs. They have a velcro-adjustable closure and a clip to keep them in place. Anyone would benefit from these.

I've got three different colors of this harness now. I've bought at least 25 different harnesses for my girls, and they're all difficult to put on/take off, uncomfortable, nature sticks to them (literally), or fall apart, but I've finally found the perfect one with this harness! They no longer flee when I tell them it's time to put on their harness, which is a huge improvement! Plus, they fit and hold up so well for these two extremely active girls that they still look brand new after romping in the woods, swimming in the lake, and washing. I'm not usually one to write reviews, but this harness is deserving of one!.
