If you have a 'Houdini Hound,' this harness is a must-have. Due to Derecho (Inland Hurricane in Cedar Rapids, Iowa), we lost our privacy fence and driveway gate, making walking difficult, especially with the deer in the neighborhood. Lily is a Tree Walking Coonhound, so the smells of downed trees and displaced wildlife send her nose scurrying in every direction. Our house faces a busy road, and she's gotten away from her collar several times. Weight gain and poor quality caused her to break the previous harness. She has lost weight (from 90 to 80 pounds) as a result of walking since the storm, which is great for her health, but her strength has remained the same. She's a pro at pulling herself out of collars and other harnesses, so I had to come up with a solution after she alerted to a deer scent on our walk the other day, pulling herself out of the collar and sprinting down the street. When she sees deer or the remains of car accidents involving them, she howls, cries, barks, and grounds herself into the pavement or yard. Despite her displeasure, she enjoys it and gets excited when I show it to her. She was ready to put it on as soon as I opened the box. It ISN'T Escape Proof. Since it arrived, we've had several instances where an escape would have been possible. I can control her with three leashes at the moment, the handle is in the perfect position, and she is comfortable. I was worried about the four plastic buckles, but they fit fine, and the two metal buckles compensate for the plastic's shortcomings. I took her measurements in accordance with the instructions, which is essential for making a purchase. I was going to get the one with only four buckles, but I'm glad I went with this one because it has six buckles and a handle across her back. br>It's simple to put on and take off once you've adjusted the straps and buckles. This is a product that I wholeheartedly endorse.

Rubbing could be avoided by wearing a fitted undergarment. I followed the instructions on the product's page to the letter and measured exactly where and how I was supposed to. Despite meeting the requirements, I could tell the dog was uncomfortable within the first few minutes of the run. I had spent literally 30 to 45 minutes working on the harness to ensure that it would not be too loose or too tight and that it would not be in the wrong place. However, despite my efforts, I have learned that the dog needs an under garment, possibly made of neoprene, to reduce rubbing and wear on the dogs skin. Aside from that, it's a fantastically well-made film. I like the extra length in the high-quality nylon straps, which allows you to double back on any of the buckles to keep them from loosening during heavy use. br>br>Any rubbing issues would be eliminated if the seller included a blowup underlayer to keep the harness from moving around.

My Chihuahua can only wear this harness. I've tried at least five different harnesses and this is the only one that keeps her enslaved; I ordered the size XS. This harness is literally a lifesaver for her because she is one of those small wiggly and squirmy dogs who manages to get out of every single harness and practically run into traffic. I was able to adjust the length of each and every strap, making this a perfect fit for my dog. It's also quite substantial, with some weight to it. Because my dog suffers from anxiety, this appears to work in the same way as one of those anxiety jackets, calming her down. She won't be able to get out of this! This is the kind of harness that appears to last at least ten years. Solid work. I also like how the leash attachment swivels and turns in a full circle, preventing the lease from becoming tangled when my dog spins in circles. Also, my dog has a deep rib cage; I understand that finding a harness that fits that anatomy can be difficult, but this one does. Thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thanks When I say I've spent over a year looking for the perfect harness, I'm not exaggerating. You've found it. I'm going to buy another for my other dog because I like it so much.

This 4-star rating is based on my experience. 5 times. The buckles are well-made and functional. It appears to be of high quality. I really like the handle on the top (dog's back) because it makes it so much easier to lift the dog into and out of the car while still supporting all of the dog's weight. You can also attach the leash to the car seat to prevent them from moving around in the vehicle while it is in motion. The leash should be attached in such a way that it does not choke the dog when it pulls on it.

For our German Shepherds, we purchased two of these in size XL. They were perfectly adjusted, and they now fit snugly but not too tightly on the dogs. There is still enough room in the vests to accommodate larger dogs or if ours gain weight. Our two dogs weigh 95 and 85 pounds, respectively. We bought these to use while moving out of state and expect them to work well based on the design, straps, leash connectors, and other features. The handle on the top of the vest is great for getting quick control of the dog and also for assisting with lifting into a vehicle. Because of the high quality of the workmanship, you can expect these vests to last a long time.

This was purchased in order to teach my reactive dog how to go out in public. It's far safer than traditional harnesses. I have no concerns about him escaping. It has plenty of patching opportunities, and the buckles are well-secured. I'm a pit bull with a medium build. lab mix. I ordered a large for him, and it fits him perfectly. The colors are vivid, and the stitching appears to be secure. It also has a substantial feel to it, which is beneficial for anxiety. I would recommend this harness to anyone who requires a good harness for a service or reactive dog.
