Questions & Answers
You appear to require the large size, which you can find on the blueberry pet website.
There is a buckle on the belt. It's well-made and has proven to be an excellent harness for us.
No, I do not believe that is true. It's too big to fit around a rabbit's neck. It may believe it is choking on something.
How long did it take you to do that?

I was excited to receive this harness because I'd previously owned one similar to it, and I know how to properly adjust it to fit my dog because I'd previously owned one similar to it. I noticed he was acting odd and kept wanting to stop and lay down (which he never does) during our first walk with the new harness, which was about 30 minutes in. We then turned around and drove him home, bringing our walk to a close a little early. I noticed his hair was rubbed off and his skin was raw and bleeding when we got home and removed the harnes. br>br>The harness is stiff and difficult to wear, and I would not recommend it to anyone. My dog doesn't pull that hard to cause this reaction and I am 200% sure it wasn't tight either.
br>After only four days of wearing this harness, our poor girl was injured. The redness in picture 1 was discovered on the morning of day 4, and we immediately switched to a neck collar as soon as we noticed it, but when we checked on the injury the next morning, it had turned into a wound, as shown in picture 2. Because she keeps licking and scratching it, our puppy is now forced to wear a shirt until she heals; the poor thing is in pain and miserable. I was shocked to discover her injury after only 4 days of wearing the harness because she is only 35 pounds and does not pull very hard. br>In addition to her injury, she could easily back out of the harness, making it far from escape proof.
The only reason this received even one star is because of the attractive color. Because my lab mix's chest measures 28 inches, I went with the large. Even after removing the logo to try to make it fit, the neck could not be tightened enough. There was at least a 3-inch gap all the way around. In addition, getting her into it took about 5 minutes. I felt as if I needed to be instructed. Also, instead of being up on her back, the ring attachment should have been in the front. I finally gave up and now I just use the harness from my other dog on her, which is very simple and effective. What a colossal financial blunder!.
Before putting on a dog, do a quick review: br>br>We bought this harness because we're going to pick up a Golden Retriever puppy in another state next weekend. At all times, we want to make sure we have complete control over her. br>br>I'm a little hesitant to use this harness because it's a little flimsy. Apart from that, this harness has a design flaw. One of the adjustable sides is where the Blueberry label will be placed. However, due to where that label was placed, the only way to reduce it to its tiniest size (if necessary) is to remove it with a razor blade. When it comes right down to it, it's kind of a stupid design. If necessary, you must adjust the harness to its tiniest size. br>br>Last but not least, while a 3. I didn't look at the content of the 1s until today and was shocked. 5 out of 5 stars (at the time of writing) isn't bad. There are a lot of people who are basically saying the same thing: Their dog had a habit of slipping out of his harness far too easily.
This is a great harness, but there are some sizing issues. I initially followed the instructions and ordered the M size after measuring my dog. I tightened it to the maximum extent possible, but it was still too big for his safety. It "fit," and he isn't the type to try to get out of it, but you never know, and I was uncomfortable. He needed a haircut as well, and if he lost any weight, he'd be out of it in no time. I returned the M and replaced it with the S, which is much more comfortable. He despised having his previous harnesses removed because they went over his head and around his neck. The step- It takes a little more finesse on my part, but he prefers to step out of it rather than tugging his head out of it after our walks. It also fits his raincoat and winter coat (the only two pieces of clothing I'd ever force him to wear) better because the leash attachment holes are on the back of both of them, rather than the neck. He looks great in green, and I even got a matching leash. If you use a PetID tag (from RoadID) or another similar pet identification system instead of a hanging tag, be aware that it will be difficult, if not impossible, to get it on the harness because there is no way to get it on the front. I was able to order a larger PetID and pull it over the buckle, so it now sits directly on top of his shoulder rather than in the front.
Blueberry is a brand that is highly recommended. Because my puppy will outgrow it, I was looking for a lower-cost harness. My puppy is quite large and enjoys pulling on the leash. Because she pulls so much, I'm not comfortable attaching the leash to her collar all of the time. While she continues to pull on the harness, it does not cause her neck pain. The color is vibrant, and it is extremely durable and adaptable. The only minor issues are that 1) you must remember how to put it on, including which side the label goes on, or it will not fit; 2) it will slide to the side and you may need to adjust it; and 3) if it is not properly fitted, the dog will attempt to chew it and get it stuck in its jaws. I like that it's simple to adjust, especially while on the dog, and that the buckle is simple to use. It's simple to connect as long as you do it correctly. If your dog doesn't like it, you'll have to get them to step into it or find another way to put it on. It might require some training, but what dog doesn't? This is a harness that I would recommend to other dog owners.
I've never had a problem with any of the blueberry pet products I've purchased, but the sizing on this harness is completely incorrect. My dog is in between sizes, so I didn't expect it to fit her perfectly, but even after removing the blueberry pet logo and tightening it as much as possible, the harness is still loose and swings to one side rather than staying straight. She has a chest measurement of 27 inches and weighs 49 pounds. 5 But I always tell people her chest measurement is 28 inches, so nothing is too tight. I was given the 27-inch L. 39 expecting it to leave an inch or two to avoid rubbing her skin, but it's still far too loose. If your dog's chest measurement ranges from 26 to 32 inches, I recommend going down a size if you're 28 inches tall.
