Please forgive me for not having an My previous avalanche step in harness was quite large, but this one is not as big. The straps are also not as wide. In comparison to my first avalanche harness, this one is better for me. My puppy weighs 65 pounds so I purchased the large size and fully extended, it just fits on my bed. This dog bed is not suitable for dogs who weigh over 65 pounds or those who are very large. like the harness because it is soft where it surrounds the dog's body and the straps have held up so far (my dog pulls a lot!).

I like it very much. As a puppy, I think this harness is very comfortable for him. She hasn't had any problems getting out of it, but lately she has had some problems. I had my dog on a leash while I was laying behind my beach chair, and she backed out. She ran away (not too far) with the leash still attached. When I first saw her getting out of the harness, I was surprised, but now I know it isn't fully secure.
