For a trip where we planned to do some hiking and a lot of walking, I purchased this doggie sling for our dog. Because our dog is spoiled and isn't used to a lot of walking in rough terrain, I expected her to require assistance at some point. br>br>The sling is compact and lightweight, making it ideal for any trip. We'll carry it in a backpack with us on our hikes so that we'll have it if and when we need it. While we haven't put it through its paces other than trying it on with her to see how it fits, I believe it will keep our shoulders comfortable. Our dog weighs about 12 pounds and has a long body, but she fits comfortably in this sling with plenty of room. The only drawback is that there is no support at all on the bottom of the sling for her to get comfortable, so we'll probably stuff a towel or small blanket in there for her. The zipper pocket is nice and roomy, holding poo bags, keys, and my Samsung S8 phone with ease. br>br>In the sling photos I posted here for comparison, my son, who is around 5'2", is holding her. The strap is adjustable for comfort for anyone taller or smaller, and the sling material appears to be nice and sturdy, so I'm hoping we'll get a lot of use out of it. I believe it will also be useful for keeping her occupied while we are in stores, restaurants, or other public places. br>br>The brown lining isn't particularly attractive, but it is what it is.

I can't express how wonderful and relaxing this is for both myself and my dog, Beau. He's always with me, and I needed a way to make him more portable. I bought another a few months ago and went gambling with a friend in Cripple Creek. The sling was supposed to hold up to ten pounds, but the straps were not adjustable. 12 lbs. Beau weighs a little more than 7 pounds. Before the trip, I put him through his paces. I thought it would work despite the fact that it was a little tight. It had been a nightmare. He was so cramped that it barely touched the middle of my chest, and my neck was in excruciating pain. (71 years old) What I don't get is why, in spite of all the negative reviews I've read about other brands, the most common complaint is that the straps aren't adjustable. And you'll come back to it again and again. YET, they keep producing them. As you can see in the photo, these straps are completely adjustable. It comes with an integrated leash to keep your dog contained. It has no top zipper, so he can't zip himself in. Instead, there are a few small sticker-like strips. If you have a jumpy dog, this is something you should work on. Beau isn't a jumper by any stretch of the imagination. He is content as long as I am with him. There is little to no neck pain because the straps are fully padded. This product comes highly recommended by me, and I am very happy with it.

We went to the beach for a vacation and brought her along. When we went for long walks or when the boardwalk area became crowded, this sling came in handy. She really enjoyed being carried around in the sling. It also made shopping on the boardwalk more convenient.

This sling's design appeals to me. Like the attached zippered pouch, which you can use to store small items like your phone and poop bags. It certainly accomplishes its goal for the most part. I bought mine to take her to the airport with me, but I've been using it at home on rainy "anxiety" days when she's a little too "needy" lol. I'd say my dog is around 13 years old. It only takes 1/2 pound before it feels heavy, so the smaller the dog, the better. This is the perfect size for a small animal.

This is the third pet sling I've ordered, and it works great. Blondie enjoys wearing the sling because she feels protected and secure. This is the best pet sling for our new puppy out of the three. Remember to secure your pet with a sling clip and a harness that extends beyond their shoulders for added safety. Pet collars are useful for identification, but they do not protect the neck of a pet, especially if it falls out of the sling. Please use a back-buckled harness for your pet.

When I go for a walk with my 12 pound and 2 pound dogs, the 2 pounder gets tired and I can easily put her in this to keep going without having to hold her on the way back. I can also use it to hold my poop bags and listen to music on my phone, which is stored in the front pocket.

This sling is very easy to use, and I got the medium even though Katie is a toy poodle and only weighs 7 lbs. It fits her comfortably, and it is also very comfortable for me, so if you have a dog like Katie, the medium is best, and if you have a smaller dog, get the small. I am very happy with the one I got!.

One of my older dogs is blind and deaf, so I bought this to help him. He used to enjoy going for walks, but now he becomes anxious because he can't see or hear where he's going. I didn't want to just leave him at home while I went out with his younger brother, so I tried it out today. He was ecstatic, sniffing the air and every tree we passed from the safety of the sling. If size and weight are any indications, he is a Boston Terrier. He weighed 20 pounds, and I didn't feel like I was carrying much. However, I have five pets. br>br> There are two cats, two dogs, and a rabbit in the house. This is something that they all enjoy equally. I gave it a shot with each one. One of my cats almost wouldn't let me take her out, so I carried her around the house, purring nonstop. stop. Even though I was moving around, my rabbit just took a nap once he got in. So this product feels great on me from 5 to 25 pounds, and all of my pets love it, which is the most important thing!.
