My Choorgie is in the shape of a French Bulldog. I had to return mine because my dog, who weighs 20 pounds, was a little overweight and I couldn't get her comfortable or feel like she wouldn't fall out. I believe it will work better for people who weigh less than 15 pounds. However, it appeared to be well-made.
It would be ideal for your 6 pound dog, in my opinion.
Although I have not yet washed it, I would say yes.

So far, it's been a huge success! My small dog, like our other large dog, is unable to hike as far as I would like. After she gets tired on the walks/hikes and lays more comfortably at an upwards angle, I am able to get her into the sling on my own. Her front paws are usually protruding, and she is perfectly fine. She usually stays until the end or almost to the end, and when she moves, I know she wants to walk. I put my hand on her head to keep her close to me because she moves around a bit when she walks and how she is positioned. She is adamant about not laying flat in it. The sling is comfortable for her at 15 pounds, but it does start to hurt my shoulder after a while. Overall, I'm pleased with this product and it has greatly aided our outings!.
A traditional pet backpack would not fit my 15-pound papillon mix. We tried it out on a recent hike, and when he got tired, he was delighted to be carried around like a baby! We've used it on three hikes and I felt pretty confident that he was safe and secure in it. So far, everything has gone well!.
The material is durable, and there are numerous small pockets for storing your phone and other items. It's fairly simple to entice your dog to participate. One issue is that the small pockets are a little high on the strap, so if you put your phone or anything heavy into those pockets while the dog isn't in the carrier yet, the whole carrier slides down and stuff falls out of pockets if you bend over. My suggestion is to lower the small pockets further or add a way to close those pockets so stuff doesn't fall out.
The product is reasonably well made and not the shite I was expecting. If it's going to carry a 20-pound dog, it should be a short-legged dog who enjoys being carried. Around the time she passed 12 pounds, my not-yet-20-pound puppy began to appear uneasy, and none of the restraints could keep her in. (Carrying her was the only way to keep her from falling to the ground. ) However, if she had preferred to be carried, I was confident that the bag would have lasted a long time and that most people who saw it would have been impressed.
Wow - I occasionally wish to go for a longer walk than our dog allows. She enjoys traveling and despises being abandoned. I put it next to her toys for a few days with treats and toys in it, then I put her in it and walked around the house. She was unsure at first – However, she was as happy as a clam in less than two minutes. I walked for about 5 minutes. Then I did it again before going out. She enjoys it and the fact that she is being carried. It's a win-win situation for both of us. This sling carrier comes highly recommended by me - For me, it was convenient - Our dog was carried by a 5"2 inch woman who appeared to be in good shape. A drawstring is used to close the top. There isn't a zipper to catch the fur of the puppy. br>I'd buy this product again.
I first used this item today in the rain in New York City while wearing a bulky winter coat. br>br>My 10 pound. The chihuahua enjoyed the ride, and I was able to carry him for a long distance without any pain in my shoulder. The strap is well-padded and wide, allowing the weight to be distributed evenly. I strongly suggest it. br>br> br>br>NOTE: if you're looking for a unique way to express yourself, this is the place to be br>With the bulky coat, the 'longest' setting for the strap is a little tight. 'I'm a petite lady,' I say. It's perfect for me, but a larger person might find it a little tight.
Our dogs are all large, but this carrier has come in handy for an invalid who needs to climb and descend a staircase with both hands. Even for the tiniest items, this requirement severely limited any notion of independence from others. But there were no clear ideas for how to improve the situation, which necessitated a safe, comfortable, hands-free environment. It is a free carrier. Surprisingly, typing those exact words into Amazon produced the cutest dog pictures as well as the ideal solution to our problem.
Everything went smoothly! I gave it to my niece, who has a 10 pound pomeranian/husky mix. works like a charm! br>It's incredibly relaxing. sturdy.
