I've used it for a 12 pound dog and it worked fine, so I'm sure a few more lbs will fit fine as well. The issue I'm concerned about is how it will feel carrying a 15 pound cat around.
13 x 7. 7 x 2. 8 inches
I haven't bought it yet, but the 'classic' ones don't appear to have an adjustable shoulder strap.
If it's not a baby, then yes.

They're at ease the moment they walk in. Because she kept whining to be held, we kept the needy one in there while we cooked dinner. It is made of a thick, durable material. Because I'm short, I wish the strap could be adjusted, but it easily holds a ten-pound dog.
She fit snugly inside, and you could tell that both the dog and the harness were securely fastened.
”. After losing my beloved dachshund to IMHA (immune system attacks red blood cells) and going through the motions of "I'll never, ever love another dog, ever," we received a call from our vet asking if we wanted to rescue a 15-month-old, 5-pound Chihuahua who had just been removed from their home. His previous owner, unfortunately, had abused and neglected him severely. He leapt into my lap and claimed me as soon as I sat on the floor to meet him. It was sort of love at first sight, if you will. br>br>He follows me around and won't let me out of his sight; when I leave the room, he cries (screams) and shakes, and he becomes very nervous. Our vet recommended that I get a sling so I can carry him around with me while we bond and build trust. br>br>Getting him in the sling was a journey, but with lots of patience and praise (and a few small bites of boiled chicken), he immediately became relaxed and fell asleep within a couple of minutes. br>The material is thick but soft and comfortable, and it has a sturdy feel to it. And the workmanship (fabric, stitching, etc. ) is superb! br>br>I like how it can be worn both ways. (Honestly, it feels and looks just like the $100 slings I've tried on in terms of comfort and quality. ) br>br>I'm 5'1 (with my shoes on) and it doesn't feel too long (it would be nice if the strap could be adjusted because it feels like it might sag if he sits in a certain way) and the wide strap is comfortable. Because of the material, I recommend stain and waterproofing it, as well as lining it with a washable potty pad (just in case). br>br>The pocket is nice, but it's a little small; I couldn't fit my iPhone 11 Pro in it, but it's great for treats or extra poop baggies. Although the safety clip is a useful feature, our veterinarian advised that we use it with caution because she has seen dogs strangled by similar devices. br>br>I can have my hands free while socializing and training him, and I can comfort him. He'll now go potty on his own and then climb right back in for a snuggle. br>br>This is without a doubt one of the best and most enjoyable purchases I have ever made. I am content when my little Rex is content.
I have a lot of puppies because I am a foster momma. My two new foster kids are in love with their pouches! When one of them is on it, the other becomes extremely envious. Both are in the tens of thousands of dollars. I weighed 12 pounds and was able to wear it comfortably. My shoulder hurts after about 15 minutes, but I don't want to wake them up, so I keep going! br>It was filled with my old, fat 26-pound French bulldog by my daughter. She didn't fight it and stayed in for about ten minutes, but because she is so heavy, my daughter gave up. I really like it.
Kitty isn't overly fond of it just yet, but when he's old enough, it'll be great to take him out in!.
I was surprised by how soft and large this sling was. I'm caring for two 6-year-old twins. I was fostering kittens for a week and needed a better way to transport them from their crate to their X pen. One likes to poke his head out, while the other prefers to curl up inside. For the price, this is definitely a good buy; just keep in mind that kittens under 2 pounds will find it a little too big!.
I was concerned that the strap would be too long for my small frame (I'm 5'1), but it was just right. I have a 4 pound chihuahua who fits nicely in it as well.
This was purchased for myself and my elderly Chihuahua mix. We live upstairs, he has a slipped disc, and because I have poor balance, I need both hands free to brace on the stairwell rail and wall. He fits perfectly in it, and the sling's soft base provides little support for him to brace himself. The strap is made of the same sweatshirt-style fabric as the rest of the sling, but there is a thick seam running underneath it where it meets your shoulder. I like the collar/harness clip because it prevents them from trying to escape. In comparison to the current strap, it would be far superior with an adjustable web strap and shoulder pad. However, for the price, it performs admirably.
