Questions & Answers
It's big enough for my 17-inch-long cat. She is able to turn around and appears to be at ease. The carrier has a length of 19 inches.
The frame is made of hard plastic. There isn't a whole lot of framing in this picture. It's a big bag, but it's light and strong. I take it to the vet with my 14-pound cat. On a plane, I doubt you'd be able to stow it beneath the seat in front of you. The frame is not made of metal.
These carriers are fantastic! We tried these after a long time of using hard plastic pet carriers. The best option! The carrier is well-made on the sides and bottom, and it stands upright and is well-intacked. Throw it over your shoulder and head out the door. They are adored by our pets!
I'm perplexed because it says in the description that it has a metal frame.

Perfect carrier for our cat who was afraid of traveling in the plastic cage (which we promptly discarded once this arrived). I placed this carrier in the living room with all of the openings unzipped, encouraging her to enter and exit it to get her scent into it. I sat next to her and kept my hand on her from the top opening when we actually went on a trip, with the sides zipped. Despite the fact that the door was open, she did not attempt to flee. She appeared to be completely at ease. The carrier's bottom is soft, and it's overall lightweight and easy to store, with comfortable straps. I'm very happy. I haven't used it on an airplane yet, but I have used it on a car trip. Even if I am petting her, she sits in the back seat of the carrier for a while, which is a good sign that she enjoys it. I don't think she'll need my reassurance in this way in the future. The idea is to get her used to long journeys. The front and side views are beneficial to us, and I believe they are also beneficial to her. I'm not sure how tough the netting is against claws and teeth because she hasn't fought it. I don't plan on letting her roam the car, but I do have an (Etsy) full body comfy vest with Velcro fastener that our kitty already knows to step into (and I'll hold her) and that a leash can attach to when we're getting out of the car. If a person allows their cat to roam the car, they should at least attach a leash to the carrier before the cat. Nobody wants their cat to fall asleep on the gas pedal or escape through an open window or door!.
Okay, so I ordered like four different carriers and this one is by far the best: it's tall enough for my cat to stand up, wide enough for her to turn around, and it opens from four different angles, which my vet recommends because some cats find it difficult to get out of a single opening carrier. It has a well-made, sturdy frame and a hard board with sherpa padding that can be removed and washed using a zipper. The only change I made was to add three large strips of velcro to the inside bottom of the carrier so that it would attach to the sherpa-covered board when I wanted to hand carry it. This way, the soft bottom would stay in place and not collapse into the carrier. This carrier is nearly perfect in every way and is reasonably priced!.
I was led to believe that this carrier was more durable than other soft-sided carriers after reading nearly all of the reviews. When one of the sides of the carrier was unzipped, it did not collapse on my cat. When my cat sleeps in the carrier, it unfortunately falls in on him. It does not collapse when he is fully enclosed with both sides zipped, but I was hoping for a carrier that would hold its shape with one side unzipped because he likes to sleep in it. The carrier is very stylish and attractive, but the fact that it collapses is a disappointment. Furthermore, the fleece pad is extremely stiff and does not fit properly in the carrier's bottom.
This was purchased for my 12-pound Shih Tzu in order for her to accompany me on various outings. The bag is well-made but not too heavy. I especially like the locking zippers, which allow her to stick her nose out to see what's going on while still keeping her safe inside. My only wish is that there was a screen on all four sides - on top of the storage pocket The screen is very sturdy, and after purchasing several other brands and returning them because they were flimsy and crushed on her, I am very pleased with this bag.
I like this carrier and have already used it with my 12 pound cat on a couple of occasions for vet visits. The bottom is durable, and the sherpa lining is extremely comfortable. There are a lot of zippers and pockets. It is, however, quite small - Even when he's loafing, he can't sit up straight because he can only fit his tail to his nose. So, after general anaesthesia, carrying him home in it was really nice. Taking a fidgety, anxious cat to the vet - Not in the least. Next time, I'll use a larger wire crate for the car and a carrier to transport only from the car to the door.
She will have plenty of space. If she wants to go on vacation, it has been approved by the airline. But, until then, it transports her to and from the veterinarian in comfort. br>It's a well-made carrier that includes a soft insert for her to lay on and adds extra umf. It's a purple color for me. It has a sporty appearance and is very nice. She'll arrive and depart gracefully. There are several ways to get her in and out of the building. It has two detachable shoulder straps as well as two attached carrier straps. Because of the carrier's size, she appears to have the best ride, especially with the padded shoulder strap. br>I am very pleased with my purchase of this carrier.
Initially, I bought a carrier from a competitor that had a good Amazon rating. It was a flimsy, low-cost product. This product is sturdy and makes it much easier to get your dog inside, and the seat belt buckles are excellent. I'm glad I chose a model in this size. It cost an extra $10, but it was well worth it. I strongly advise you to read this book. It's also a hit with our Cockapoo.
" **2 year update*
My cat suffers from anxiety and despises being transported by car in this carrier. He doesn't mind if I take a walk to the park or even take a nap in it. As you can see in the update pictures, he scratched and chewed his way through the inner sewing/threads and made a mess. I reduced my rating from 5 to 3 because I believe the interior of the bag should have been sturdier or layered with a different material, at the very least around the edges. For a period of two years, the cost is $33. This isn't designed for feisty cats or cats who suffer from anxiety, in my opinion. br>br>Wonderful! br>br>Wonderful! br>br>Won It's small and light, making it ideal for travel. When we're out and about, I can keep extra wipes and a small bag or can of food in the side pocket. It's a favorite spot for my cat to perch. There's plenty of room for him, and the fact that we can see through the mesh on top as well as the sides is beneficial to both of us.
