**Every week I get emails offering me Amazon credit if I remove my negative reviews. Despite the rating, don't trust it! There is a great deal of quality in both the daytime and the nighttime views of this camera. The problem is that it has a poor function. A frequently occuring problem is its sudden interruptions. In some cases, I have to manually check the camera to discover that it has been disconnected and I need to reconnect. If there is a lot of movement in the line of sight, the camera will glitch and become pixilated, and it will often cut out completely. When I connect, there is a very loud crackle that comes through as if it is trying to connect to my microphone and then turns off (because I have turned off the microphone on my phone). If I talk from my phone to the camera, My response will be coming as soon as I can.

I brought it with me because I was going on an overnight trip and wanted to check on my cat, first time he had been alone for more than 12 hours. After a short period of time it just stopped working. As I was still very early in the trip, I was very stressed when all of a sudden the connection stopped. Support was a JOKE, so I contacted them. The response was once and they told me to connect The program was running on Data, which I did not have and which I did not have. Petcube contacted me after I expressed my frustrations with my previous review, and I decided to try it again. On my Nexus 7, I hoped this meant they had updated the older app, but when I checked, it had not been updated. In spite of that, I am glad to report that I was able to connect to the device from my smartphone. Getting to where I am now was a bit of a challenge, Please note *br/*br/*- Added the new camera by selecting "Add camera" in the app
- The following Petcube cams have been selected - You need to plug in the device and then press the bottom button until the unit says "Ready for setup"*– Follow the instructions. I removed the Petcube Cam as far as possible from the WiFi connection (around 80 feet in my backyard)
