Bites 2 Lite has the same features as Bites 2, but it only connects to 2GHz networks and does not support 5GHz networks. It also lacks a built-in Alexa and runs at 4GHz. Bites 2 Lite, unlike Bites 2, is made of hard plastic and is therefore lighter.

No…. It's just a churning to make the sound normal. When I opened the app, it made that noise, so I contacted customer service, who promptly replaced my unit at no cost: I hope this information is useful.

The dispenser had stopped working after a year of use. The company refused to assist me in resolving the problem, stating that I would have to purchase a new one but would receive a small discount if I did so. I politely declined and promised myself that I would never purchase another. br>br>Like a sucker, I went out and bought another. I bought this new one because they were having a deep discount for previous petcube owners and I had an Amazon gift card. br>br>Right away, this new petcube treat dispenser had problems! It doesn't fling treats; instead, it drops a bunch on the ground and maybe tosses one weakly. I tried a variety of sizes of treats, but the dispenser is a shambles. br>br>I'm going to return this new petcube and give myself a hard time in the mirror.
your pet's stress-free lifestyle Maui, our dog, adores the petcube line of products and would always sit in front of it, begging for a treat. If only she could get Alexa to throw a party for her (Haha)! We adore the new petcube lite design, especially in white. Despite the fact that the battle is between plastic and metal, Because of the light weight of aluminum, it is easy to hang or transport. This unit, unlike our previous one, does not come with an alexa built-in, but it can connect to any alexa device, which explains the price difference. With each new product release, the video quality and connectivity have improved. The first time you set up your computer, it's usually pretty simple and straightforward. 5 GHz vs. It's worth thinking about whether you'll need 5 GHz from your home internet service. Non- Customers who aren't as tech-savvy may have trouble setting up their home internet, rather than the Petcube. We're always looking forward to seeing what Petcube has in store for us. It takes away a lot of the stress of leaving our pet at home while we're gone. If I were new to the petcube line, I would go with the one that best suits my needs and environment. We had the best results with the new petcube lite. ================================================================================================================= br>Here are a few things we thought were worth mentioning about Petcube Lites. We've been back to work for a while, so the Petcubes are being used more than ever to keep our Maui entertained. Our neighborhood recently experienced a power outage, and when we returned home, we had to manually reset the pet cube. For situations like these, a redundancy system or notification of a power outage might be useful. Since then, our Petcube Lite has been hard at work, and Maui has been counting down the days until he gets his treat!.
I recently bought a petcube and would highly recommend it. We got a pandemic puppy and wanted to use a pet cam to keep an eye on him as the world begins to open up again, people return to work, and so on. We'd never used a security or pet cam before, so we weren't sure how this would work. br>br>Overall, it does exactly what it should. The setup was simple, and the video and treat dispenser were up and running in less than 30 minutes. The video quality is excellent, and the treat dispenser performed much better than I had anticipated. I was worried that our dog would be afraid of the device because of the controls in the app, but he hasn't had any problems so far. br>br>The app could use some tweaking to make video viewing controls and privacy settings more obvious, but it does the job. Personally, I don't need to see pictures of other pets and don't want to share pictures of my dog with other petcube users, so these features aren't as prominent as they should be. However, it isn't a major issue in the grand scheme of things. We've found it very useful for keeping an eye on our little guy, giving him treats, and conversing with him while we're out after about a week!.
She used to travel a lot before all of the lockdowns, but since it all started with her having to stay at home all of the time, she got her dog Lucy, so no one was ever alone. However, the world is once again on the move, with some planned trips and more time spent outside, with some brief periods of separation ahead. br>br>After unpacking and a quick set up, a quick test revealed the promise of it being something that could keep them connected. We'll see how it goes, but from what we've seen so far, it definitely engages Lucy and dispenses flying treats to the delighted child. br>br>It makes me happy to see that there is so much fun and that the interactivity is physical through treats! (Simply using voice and video is no longer sufficient, as our entire lives are already on zoom. ).
I'd been waiting for the light version of the Petcube bites 2 to be released, primarily because it's more affordable and I adore it. My kitty was immediately enamored with it, and now I can play with her and give her treats while I'm at work or even in a business meeting)) Just don't tell my boss. . . lol. My kitty recognizes me completely because the camera is of good quality and the dynamics do not distort my voice. This is a fantastic product with even better pricing. 100% of the money spent is VALUE FOR MONEY.
The PetCube has been invaluable in keeping us in touch and teaching our furry friends to remain independent and playful while we are away. br>br>Because our cat enjoys treats and affection, this was an excellent addition for him. He hangs out there now during the day when he needs a break from the sun. br>br>The design is nice and clean, and the color is neutral and goes with just about anything. The product is of excellent quality.
***UPDATE **
My Petcube livestream is connecting MUCH better now, thanks to a quick response from the customer service team and a firmware update! I really like this camera now that I know how to use it to its full potential. br>br>I really wanted to like this product, but it only worked 1 out of 10 times when my phone wasn't connected to my home wifi network. That is, if you want to be generous. br>While away from home, the motion or sound-activated recordings uploaded quickly and clearly to the app, but the livestream connection is extremely weak and unreliable for unknown reasons.
