This was the wrong size for my 8-year-old so I returned it and ordered one in Small My 6-pounder is an XS, and my 10-pounder is a medium There was a problem with the XS even though it was supposed to fit a six-footer A dog weighing around 3 pounds, as small as a toy, would probably be fine in this. It is being returned to me. * The Small was too small for my 8-year-old I love this! There was so much disappointment in my mind. It's long and roomy, but it's too tight on him around his ribcage.
