We are able to keep her feet under herself Our 15 year old dog who suffers from bone and joint disease received the paw pads yesterday and we already placed them on his back paws. We have an old mix of German Shepherd and Chow who recently slipped a disc when he slipped on the wood floors and is now having difficulty walking. I am very happy with this product. Her feet slide easily on the tile, so she often falls and gets stuck. She is 14 years old and has several spinal issues. It will be difficult for her to get up from a laying position because she won't be able to grasp. It's no problem. I did cut these paw protectors apart separating the toe and pad sections, then applied them to her feet and they worked just fine. There are a few days when they peel off, especially if it has rained. I'm keeping several boxes of them on hand because they work so well compared to other products, including the ridiculously expensive Busby toe grips that did not work at all except for this product. If you do plan to add more traction spots to these, I'd like to see them already divided into toes and pads.

Though he is able to hold himself up with his front paws, sometimes his paws bleed from sliding and rubbing them so hard. I thought these pads would be a good alternative to socks because socks don't offer him much traction. He's in for a real treat with these! The 16 yr old ship tzu that lives with me has very weak hips and sometimes slips off the rug in our living room - You can find rugs in many styles. Wood floors are also difficult for her to walk on. The little stickers are so cute! Usually we place them only on her back paws as only there does she need them the most. They greatly improve her ability to walk indoors despite the fact that she doesn't use them much else. I love them a lot I also like that they are made of non-slip material, and my dog doesn't seem to notice them once they're Most of them fall off on their own within a week (or a bit less if it's wet or she walks a lot outside). Then, we wet and soap her paw so that the adhesive comes off more easily if one of them starts to hang off and it is still glued to her paw with adhesive. I would recommend this box to others and will likely buy more when the current.

Our dog ordered the xxl of these and we had to cut individual pieces to fit and placed them on only the back paws so far and they lasted 3 days I highly recommend it.

It is an excellent product. My 11 1/2 year old Golden Retriever has been having problems getting up and slipping on hardwood floors, as well as on ceramic tiles. She was given anti-inflammatory medication by the vet because they figured she had It was potentially harmful to her, so I didn't want to give it to her. I searched online to find out what could be done to help her with her mobility issues and found this. She looks and acts like her old self once more. It was really hard to keep his back legs from slid around on the kitchen floor with all those legs. The only thing that bothered me were the sizing issues They're slightly bigger in the front than in the back, and there isn't enough room for the toes-- It is to be expected that these will be too big for your dog's paws when they are not tailored in line with his needs. Generally, they perform better than expected, but not quite as well as they could.
